LAGOS, Nigeria (AP) — Nigeria's military
reported rescuing a second "Chibok girl" in a
forest battle with Islamic extremists, but a
community leader said Friday she is not on the
list of 218 students missing from the 2014 mass
abduction from the school by Boko Haram that
sparked worldwide outrage.
Army spokesman Col. Sani Kukasheka Usman
said soldiers freed the girl after a Thursday night
battle in the northeastern Sambisa Forest in
which it liberated 97 women and children and
killed 35 extremists. He said she is 157 on the list
of 218 missing girls seized more than two years
ago from a boarding school in Chibok.
But number 157 has a different name, Chibok
community leader Pogu Bitrus told The
Associated Press. The list has two other young
women sharing the surname given by the military
and the rescued girl may have been visiting older
sisters at the school the night of the kidnapping,
said Bitrus.
The first Chibok teenager to be freed with a 4-
month-old baby and was discovered by hunters
wandering on the fringes of the Sambisa Forest
on Tuesday. On Thursday, Amina Ali Nkeki, 19,
was flown to Abuja to meet with Nigeria's
President Muhammadu Buhari.
Parents of the kidnapped girls, the Bring Back
Our Girls movement and aid workers all have
criticized the Nigerian government and military
for their handling of the development, with
Refugees International charging her escape is
being politicized and that she should not be
paraded in public but getting urgent medical care
for sexual abuse and psychosocial counseling.
Ali has revealed that a few of the girls died in
captivity but most remain under heavy guard in
the forest, according to family doctor Idriss
Danladi. The AP does not identify suspected
victims of sexual assault but named Ali after she
appeared on TV alongside the president.

Bunch of political jokers. After getting away with the first Chibok girl scam, the NA just had to bungle the entire movie by trying to snatch the credits for themselves. Looks like someone, somewhere wants to keep the credits for himself, hence why they released the true name of the real girl. This whole campaign might end up blowing up in APC's faces if they are not careful. Kudos to NA, una try xoxo! |

Even the Western media is doubting the story of Sarah Luka and no clergy man has claimed her as a daughter, the community has even said she is from Madagali in Adamawa State while all the Chibok girls are from Borno as reported below by Yahoo! The Army is desperate to take some credit since Amina Ali was said to have been rescued by the CJTF which they initially claimed was their handiwork and gave her a fake name of Mbalala. https://www.yahoo.com/news/chibok-girl-found-first-since-abduction-boko-haram-001804692.html |

By the time the curtain is finally drawn on these APC Stand-Up comedies and blockbusters, all the spectators would be asking for a refund of their money. I'm so sure of that. |

My brothers and sisters, 1. The so called gal was supposed to be in SS3 writing WAEC but she can't even speak English do we write WAEC with Hausa? 2. She was said to be 12 yrs when kidnapped and now 14 yrs; but the average age that sits for WAEC in Educational developed region like SW is 16yrs. 3. She was found by civilian JTF but NA hijacked it. 4. She was identified with three distinct names by relevant authorities. The chibok gals saga still sounds as a scam |

i saw the below write up and it got me thinking! APC the Movie. . . You are a boko haram Commander. You kidnapped a minor and get her pregnant. You are caught with your captive. You are not arrested. Your captive who was said to be writing senior secondary school exams (WAEC) at the time of kidnap, does not know a word in English. She does not also seem to know her name. The Principal of the school she was writing WAEC does not know her name too. The Army does not know her name. Even the youth leader of Chibok community does not know the girl's name. They are all giving conflicting names. Nobody bothers to go to WAEC and check her name and passport photograph (or did she write the exams without registration?) It is now more than 24 hours and nobody has claimed to be her parents. Can you lose your child for more than a year and hear she has been found, and you don't rush to meet her? Meanwhile, the military has found a boko haram Commander who kidnapped an innocent child, but instead of arresting him, a reception is being organised for him. Today, a ceremony was organised where the boko haram Commander, and her captive, were received by Buhari in Aso Rock! Now I hear another has just been rescued too and army is saying the name is not on their list . This movie is epic! ! ! |

This is exactly my argument on this thread: https://www.nairaland.com/3116678/chibok-girls-rescue-nigerian-military#3116678.9 you dont make rescue operations public until everything is sorted out. This is a big shame. |

KissCODE:Fortunately, we have the pictures of those said to have been kidnapped from Chibok. The next move by the government is to collect 270 girls from some village and take them to Abuja to say they are the "rescued" Chibok girls. So that they can rest the scam they started. |

I think APC has come to the term that nigerians could no longer be deceived hence a change of tatics. Why not carried out thorough investigation and verify first, b4 jumping out that she's another chibok girl ![]() Anyway, they must create stories for Buhari to tell by fire by force on may 29th, hence all this drama. What a shame!!! |

Beremx:you are a member of this government. We should be asking you, obiagelli & cramjones plus omenka. You guys should know better than the rest of us. KissCODE:whether she was among the chibok girls or not abducted by boko haram, don't you think you should be happy she was found alive? Don't you think every teenage girl rescued from boko haram is termed "Chibok girl" because of the large number of girls abducted from the school? Start answering my questions! So i destroyed GEJ with my moniker? Inukwa? |
