A Very Big Python Killed Today By Oil Workers At Egbema, Imo State

My men went out today for some work around our company facility and stumbled across this giant monster. Of course they dared to attack and snuffled life out of it. This happened at Orashi River at Egbema, Imo State.

Orashi river doesn't permit the killing of pythons. It is a deity around that area. You are very lucky the indigenes didn't see you, you for perform serious burial right for them

Python is a sacred specie of snake in some parts of igboland. It's harmless to humans.no need to kill it.

Thought they don't kill this species of snake in igbo land. Is this not eke ?

If it's at Egbema side of orashi river the python was killed, then its a stray python. I suppose the snake is Eke Njaba, predominant in Njaba/Orashi river belt of Imo state. The snake is a diety and usually harmless.
@OP, had you killed that python in places like Isunjaba, you wouldn't be spared by the natives. You would definately bury it like a human being with all funeral rites attached to it.

I think this MOD must be high on semtin,is it a curse to post anything snake for front page while important topics are neglected...not fear of ban.
