Sometimes, I just leave the lappy to go and quickly do something, before I come back at least e for don ready to build finish.

Even my lappy wey be 8GB sometimes still dey reach 6minutes or even 10 minutes. I had to to learn how to do a lot of tweaking.

Very doubtful. . . .you can use other tools but not android studio or eclipse

Gradle, back then when I was using a 256mb RAM, I used to go and cook concursion rice and come back, start eating it... After eating, it finishes its build angry

Instant build is very fast. This is what I get in my system with Android Studio 2

I am using 1.5.0 version ,I really need to upgrade to 2.0 .Installing all the android sdk from 2.2 to 6.0 is really giving me headache , network problem to the extent I was so confused becomes I only installed gingerbread as minimum and android4.42 as maximum . Working with 5.0 level api without installing it in the sdk "gradle wouldn't build" .

limited network problem .

^^^^hehehehe, hope you have learnt how to put your gradle settings on offline mode so that after you have downloaded the dependencies, it should not chop unnecessary data.
