Open Letter To Niger-delta Avengers And South South Governors by HarrisonAkadidi(op): 12:50pm On May 22, 2016
Early this afternoon... Sunday 22 May 2016 - 12:20pm - I stepped outside my house to pick up something and a neighbor said to me "How far your brothers na, you hear wetin dey happen"?

My response was gonna be: I don't have any brother (Biologically) - Buh then he said #NigerDeltaAvengers and I realized Cuz am from delta state - so he referred them as my brothers...

I quickly told him, I totally disagree with them bombing pipelines and causing havoc in delta state - reasons being they are killing the economy of Nigeria and Delta State with their own hands.

A man quickly revolted and said - I shouldn't talk that way, that the oil is coming from their land and they have the right to rebel for change to happen (to have prosperity in their land)

He sounded right - but also very wrong.

This brings me to Niger Delta Avengers - here's my word for you! You are giving delta youths every where a bad name (especially in the international community)

But let's tell our self the truth, your fight is selfish and as much as you feel, its for the people, you and I know its for your pocket n few others in line with you.

So instead of blowing things up, why not spark up a conversation with the government around the south south to create a versatile economic system in the south.

To build up structures and open up investment opportunities to would land delta youths good paying jobs.

Here's to the Government of the south: Open up a channel to find out best ways to improve the mental structure of the youths in delta state. A channel to discuss with the intelligent youth of the south to create private and government partnerahip to help build a Dubai in Nigeria.

You need ideas from the youth.

There at few of us that stays outside Delta State, we are not looking for government money, we want to serve the state. We can bring in Private Investment in Delta State and the south in General and set a goal for the next 10 years to have an international city - a city that brings in millions of people around the world.

We need set a vision bigger than the little money you give to militants and town chiefs to ensure peace in the land.

We need think like a 21st Century CITY. We can grow bigger than Lagos. The south can become the new Lagos and Abuja put together.... We become bigger than the Nigeria system.

We just need a channel where we can have government endorsement to serve and do our jobs as indegene of the south.

The Guns wouldnt help neither would protest bring a change.

As a government and as a people - if we have a channel where we can converse and set a vision for the south (A 10, 15 and 20 years vision) and we set our hearts to it, we would build a state no indegene of Delta State would wanna leave.

I'm an Indegene of Delta State and I so wish for an opportunity to self fund government projects - I just need the endorsement and land resources.

We know how to raise funds, we aren't looking for tax payers money, we would generate funds and do big things for the South.

So if you are reading this and your are part of the government of the south (Nigeria) please get in touch - let's have a better approach to making the south a Dubai in Nigeria, a truly amazing place to stay.

Delta people are great people... Let's make the land great also.

see this aboki fulani suya seller claiming niger delta.

with your writing skills you are not from Niger Delta. ask the northerners what they said concerning the 2014 national conference and resources control. do you think the northerners will give up their land for southerners to own up farm up north? violent is the only language FG understand. what happens to KANU and IPOB peaceful protesters? even when a sitting judge pronounce KANU bail still the FG shows a deaf ear. just like what happens to saro wiwa. Niger Delta has grown pass that old way of doing things.

this agitation you sees today is long before buhari come to power go and ask OBJ and yaradua. not because Jonathan lost the last election. the reasons you didn't see agitators in last administration was because Jonathan was their son. that was why the silent all this while. Jonathan was wise enough to buried the agitators through giving them contracts which buhari terminate maybe he thinks Niger deltas are afraid of him Niger Delta are not IPOB.

the military are not equipped with technology for a guerilla warfare. except they want to level innocent and old people as OBJ did to Odi. and such replication will spell doom for this administration.

Is high time we ask ourselves this vital question, is it only in oil we have one Nigeria? Truth by told check all the political positions and wealth of this so called one Nigeria , whose regions have been short change since after civil war? Check all the appointments made by this gov. Is it in-line with one Nigeria? Am very curious to ask this question for long and any one with one Nigeria answer should please help, why all the ministers of FCT were from the north?
