I'm pretty sure I've traveled Nigeria than you. Infrastructure is not just buildings hun. If there's any part of Nigeria I've lived that actually has a working public water system, it is Ib. Those areas you think have brown roofs actually have the best roads and highest supply of power, but you wouldn't know that would you? Before I left abj, it only had 2 cinemas and I don't think that has changed much now, ib's got at least 3 besides those theaters for stage drama. That's just an example, not very strong sef. May I ask when you lived in Ib? I didn't use to like Ib myself until ajimobi came into power. Things have really changed here within the last 5 years.

There you made some gleering wrong assumption again, every city in Nigeria has some degree of unstable electricity power supply, but when it comes to which has better supply, Ibadan is no were close to the Abuja, lagos, PH or enugu. Water supply? Did you say ibadan has an excellent what supply(at least by Nigerian standard)? Ibadan is just a regular nigerian city when it comes to Night and social life. Better cities like the ones i mention earlier has far better night life. Like i said Ibadan is not and shouldn't yet be among the top 10 infrastructurally develop city in Nigeria. Unless you talking of the very cheap housing and stuffs like that.

You have to consider running water, good roads and electricity stability. a city can be developed and not be an economic center. Yoruba cities do not all have piped water but they all have potable water in form of wells at least. Nowhere has electricity. Some have good road networks, others do not. Osogbo, Ilesa, Calabar, Enugu, Ibadan and etc are better places to live in than Lagos but they do not have the population. PH is one of the worst because of the traffic. In Nigeria, the ranking by economic impoprtance remains Lagos, Ibadan, Kano, PH, Benin and etc. Economic importance means raw value of cities, volume of economic activities and etc.

Dummy, you are really dull to use financial transactions as a measure of valuing development when knowledgeable people use GDP. No southeastern state is close to Ibadan in terms of economy. Ibadan is always in top 5 in Nigeria contesting with major cities like kano and port-harcourt.
Financial transactions is used by banks and is not a way of measuring economy or development. Withdrawing N5000 and depositing it back 5 times doesn't mean you have N25,000 but as long as bank is concerned, you have done a transaction worth N25,000.

Igbo are mainly into trading which requires lots of withdrawals and deposit.
