God, are you seeing this people?!
That’s how some Nigerians may feel after seeing these wild pictures of how they ‘waste’ tomatoes in Spain.
Tomatoes are so scarce in Nigeria the price has gone up about 900 per cent. The amount of tomatoes Nigerians were used to buying for N50 now goes for as much as N500.
Meanwhile, in far away Spain…people do this…

That's a yearly event. The tomato fight takes place once in a year.

You try to make it seem like the spanish have more than enough tomato to waste everyday.

Well, tomato scarcity in Nigeria is due to the strange pests that destroy tomato plants on the farmland. I'm sure the Institute of agricultural research is working on getting a solution to the tomato plant infestation.

Pest in this modern Era cannot be seen as a barrier to any desired agricultural produce at all only that the will is not there or is it that there are no pests in those countries that produce enough?
In fact there are pesticides as well as resistant varieties of most crops in this present age.
