kcmichael: You come to my house, take my pot of soup and offer me a plate and you think I'll worship you forever? We gave you this, that, this that.....resource in peoples backyard, and you are sharing it for them. Parastatals that are corrupt and are still influenced by the leeches. Divide and appease tactics won't work for the ND. Inclusive and genuine concern needs to be proffered to solve long term issues. There is a root cause of these problems and if you don't solve it from the root, you are only delaying the problems. Have you studied the demands of the NDA? Did they say they want all the oil? They demand for oil blocs shared to be retrieved and I think that is for the benefit of all Nigerians. All these bigots sef. Weep for your parasitic self. 8 Likes 2 Shares |

mrvitalis: The Anambrarians and the Imolites don't tolerate non inclusion of their youths or look sideways at environmental dilapidation that follows exploitation of natural resources. I've been there and I know first hand. Already Orient Petroleum is state owned, that shows you they have been ready. |

worksmart: Again.....power. Thing is....w.e privatised power because govt could not afford the annual $1bn needed to make the thing work. (To bring it up to being able to supply power 24 hours would cost more). Plus , most of the equipment and facilities inherited by them DISCOS had not been fixed up in decades. Some of them were sooo obsolete that one of the execs of the companies wondered out loud how they had been able to supply a nation with power. Thing is...it is going to take some time to fix the whole power sector....ie renovate, and improve the transmission system, as well as add the 15000 extra megawatts we need to have light 24/7. Privatizing it is just the first step.(That is why we also have to pay heavy bills). Don't expect magic, in other words. The DISCOS/gencos inherited a moribund system that barely worked. Fixing it is going to take a loot of time. After all....look at GSM. It took them at least 4 years to get the whole thing working properly.....and we had to pay through our noses for the thing. (Especially as MTN and co had to build our GSM network from scratch)> |

GSM is easy to run, does not require heavy infrastructure or much maintenance, beside government has never really run gsm, so that is a bad example. Perhaps you can tell me another example Quakertellicus1: |

MadCow1: Which part of ND are you from and how developed is your community? You should be ashamed if you don't know the actual criminals are the one who takes 100% of what belongs to you then give you 13% in return. Do you know where Abuja is? Those development you see there are built with funds from your region. If Nigeria splits today where will abuja belong? If oil were to be in the North will ND people own 80% of oil blocs? In reality no ND man will get a bloc. Why don't you have a seaport anywhere around your region? Why is the focus on just Lagos? Lagos is what it is today because it was once the Capital of Nigeria. Abuja is cool today because that's your capital..... None of these regions belong to you yet they both thrive on your oil funds and you are classified as 5%. It's a shame. Nigeria won't need you once they are done with what you have or you think the North cares about you? Even with the oil Buhari told you clearly you won't be treated as people that gave him 97% vote. Are you aware that any state that finds a bottle of crude oil in its zone automatically becomes an oil producing state there getting 13% derivation even if they can't produce 1 gallon of oil I doubt your claim of being a ND 7 Likes |

tempest01: The demand to release Dasuki too has to do with oil? why didn't ur NDA demand all this when GEJ was in power? you call others parasitic because oil is located in ur region. Was it Buhari that shared those oil blocs? the truth remains that you people are greedy selfish and very gullible. always thinking of the present no plans for the future. we know you Niger-Deltans how you live, you live a wasteful unplanned live that's why it was easy to play you. and now some politicians are still playing you and you are falling for it. they want you to destroy yourselves to help them prove their political point. ND youths always very cheap to manoeuvre. |

there was a country
there is a country
there is a country to come
sunrise from the east
sunset in her midst biafra had known peace biafra had lived in pieces the bombs kept coming down like rain the people stood guard in pain the north wanted her to hide the east stood up with pride the nation fought with its might the nation saw the light many many far years ago plenty plenty foretell forego the brit came with her dine while America merry with wine the plan was to keep us in line the fine was to make us align. we fought with bravery never seen before even though weapons were too high to afford we called heaven to listen but deafness became our haven why did we not win the war why did we not fight the law today biafra is reborn again the master must try to burn. we are wining the war we are standing against the wall. the nation is in pieces as biafra is born in peace. 1 Like |
