He has been charged, and offered bail.Last I heard...the case is still on...and he is still in custody.

Though the court granted him bail but he is yet to perfect the bail conditions.

Unfortunately it is the law.....many offences including Yunusa's are bailable offences.

It is the job of the courts to offer a platform where the accused is presumed innocent until proven guilty.

At any rate....the court did set very hefty bail conditions....which Yunusa...last I heard...had difficulty meeting (It included him having one of his sureties to be resident in Bayelsa state.).

Anyway...bail theoretically is not a get out of jail free card. If you jump bail...your surety could be jailed.
