My dear I am surprised as well. Anyways the house committee should get to the bottom of this specific case. In general Italia is a very nice place especially in torino-piedmonte that is very generous for her well structured, royal and hospitable policies to locals, refugees and foreigners alike.

Either this story is fake or highly embellished. Why would her buttocks be chopped off because they want to harvest her kidney? Makes absolutely no sense. And she even claimed her bones were shattered and she saw the bits...really. the pelvic bone is not that easy to get to. Also why transfer her from hospital to hospital, that's not an effective way to cover up a wrong deed.

Indeed there's plenty of lies in the story. And the fact that a radio program talked about it doesn't authenticate it either.

stfu if u don't have any good thing to contribute. this woman's case came to a radio prgm( Brekete family) on love FM abuja, they made sure national Assembly was involved, after they have done their investigation, that's where d house committee which hon Rita is d chair person took it up. I hv bin following up,because its disheartening. so pls keep quiet.

I work for a major hospital here in the US. I've been there for over 15 years and I consider it the best. It's always on the list of 100 best places to work.

One day I read how a homeless woman was discharged without been attended to due to no insurance. They simply call a cab and told him to take her to where homeless people live. This of course caused a shyte storm when the news broke.

So yea, we can never underestimate the stupidity of people.

Does free health care apply to free donation of vital organs? I have been following this story on a reality radio program in Abuja for the past 6 months . the victim had called the radio station herself. Even a honorable house of Representatives member in the committee on diaspora visited this lady and came to brief Nigerians about the case which they are still handling. Someone is dying and here you are saying it's fake. Don't pray to find urself in this harsh reality

But do you think our NASS members have not done any investigation at all?

You know the medical system is very adamant to accept mistake. Except where bad publicity is likely.

I know of a hospital that settled out of court (even thought not at fault) because when the news hits front page & a "poor" family laments bad treatment, na yawa.

For an immigrant, considering the prevalent anti-immigrant sentiments in the Western public since about 10 years now, hospitals might not fear such bad publicity.

Why wuld u seat there and conclude such is a fabricated story? Why would someone do such thing then? You can't jump into conclusion that way, girl. The report didn't capture any govt involvement in the act...sounded private stuff.

You better pray so you don't become a victim of this kind of a problem. Don't you know that the world is evil. Occasionally some of these rich people who live a careless life,when they develop serious illness, they pay all these hospitals to get these body parts from innocent people who they can use to replace theirs. Don't you know that it's not all the people that the doctors tell died while be admitted in the hospital actually died a natural death, some are deliberately killed by the doctors for some of these reasons. Always ask God for good health to keep you away from the hospital!!!!!

Bros you're right. Some errors individuals make sometimes are simply incredible.

Once I went to visit a family friend who had a baby. On getting there, the wife narrated her ordeal in the hospital during childbirth.
In a hospital over 700 years old. That pioneered many aspect of healthcare as it is known today, discovered many syndromes that are named after those individuals.

In fact I am very proud of my association with such a great institution.

When she told me the error I nearly fell from my chair. shocked

The most stark illiterate lady & inexperienced birth attendant in my village will never make such a mistake. grin cheesy grin

Iam shocked at the story, my 8yrs in Italy I ain't got no bad thing to say about them…their hospitality is 2nd to no country I've been. Only the lady know what she did with her fvcking self. Nigeria a country which Everyone wanna be a blog owner, copying and pasting fake, fabricated stories.

I have been following this story on the radio ssince the year began. I've heard the lady speak! I knew when Mrs Rita was called on air and when she went to. Italy.
