TSNG:
It's all about the oil

human lives in the Niger delta don't matter to the federal government

"One thing you should know is that
government is not interested in its
constitutional duty of protection of lives
and the welfare of its citizens, rather it is
interested in the continued flow of crude
oil in the region. Therefore, it could do
anything to make the oil flow, not minding
the security and the welfare of the people."

One day NIGER DELTA would be liberated

The translation of the words of one far-north federal law-maker a few years ago:
[If it takes killing 20,000,000 Niger Deltans to have peace to tap crude oil, better].

Buhari just announced in Katsina that they killed 2,000,000 people to enjoy what they now enjoy in crude oil proceeds.

It's time to stop Hausa/Fulani/kanuri with their oily war against the east and rest of Niger delta before they completely and systematically eliminate mankind in the east and rest of Niger Delta.

A careful mind reading this will easily know that Tompolo is encouraging the NDA by further advocating their cause. The only thing he has succeeded in doing in the letter is to ask the guys to continue. As a matter of fact he has invariably invited others to join especially those who benefitted from him.
This is a master piece of propaganda and recruitment of other passive militants.
For me PMB did not have a game plan to the Niger Delta Issue. He yielded too early to the hawks in his government, in the process acted too hastily in cancelling the security contract with Tompolo & Co. and been hesitant in the amnesty programme.
More intelligence is required here than brutal force, then we will know the roots of the present agitation and deal with it.

The government seems to be using a carrot and stick approach.
In the end, the only solution is dialogue. The problem is that right now these people are asking for the impossible ie their own republic and the release of Nnamdi Kanu.
The government must handle this one carefully since it brought this upon itself.
They should have maintained the status quo since they know that we don't have the capability to take on the militants.
releasing nnamdi KANU is impossible abi? I pity u

I concur with u! The difference between the north and the south is no longer tribal but oil. The agitators are marking their map boundaries around the oil rich states, the FG is interested in the south becos of oil. If this oil disappears nigeria will be a Poor but industrious and peaceful nation. What God gave to us to enrich us, we have turned it into a curse to us. My opinion tho!
