The absence of jobs and hope leads to fanaticism and extremism. People that comment here are too young to remember the civil war. A lot of them are overseas. Ethnic hatred is a mirage that only comes to light in periods of frustration. When iheanacho scored for Nigeria tonight how many people thought of his local government and when he celebrated, did he celebrate only with his kinsmen? Do not waste your energies fighting a war that will never take place. Thriving in Nigeria today requires pin point focus, strategy and execution. Don't waste your youth. This is a class you can't repeat. A word is enough for the wise. Goodnight. 24 Likes 5 Shares |

ubath: Another Yoruba man with his lies. Ojukwu was alive during the rise of Uwazuruike MASSOB, and not for once did he condemn Uwazuruike and MASSOB. Igbos are never brother to Yorubas and Hausa Fulanis anymore than we are brothers to the Zulu and Twi. No Igbo man that fought the war regrets it. If they did, their children won't be out there protesting, orientation starts from family and most Igbo families raise their kids pro secession. Meanwhile, go through this thread below and go look for your brothers up north. Igbos are not brothers to your people, brotherhood no be by force. https://www.nairaland.com/1069069/yorubas-most-vocal-inciting-complete/2 2 Likes |

Onenaira1: This was the major problem Ojukwu had to deal with in Bia***, too many Igbos willingly to sabotage their people's effort because of personal greed. It was so bad that at a point they all turned Ojukwu into a paranoid man, he nolonger knew who to trust, in anger he executed lots of them Igbo sabos, and the angry Igbo mob will even go ahead to kill the families of those sabos, cos they believed that "ihe agwo muru ahaghi idi Ogologo". Most of the descendants of those sabos survived th. war, and they all harbour a deep sense of anger and vendetta against Ndiigbo and Bia***. Because of their anti Igbo nature, even though they were Igbos themselves, the Igbophobic Fulani Hausa new lords found it convenient to empower those individuals. We have many of them in our midst. Obiano is a disgrace, but I don't blame him. 1 Like 1 Share |
