I graduated from geology from oau 8 yrs ago... Among the 8 that graduated without extra year... Over 100 started the first year, around 50 made it to the 3rd year... And like 20 made it to the fourth year...out of which 8 graduated including me... Only 1 made 2.1 the rest 2.2 and 3rd class.... That was a good development compared to previous sets where the dept didnt graduate any students for 2 consecutive session

Guy... you can change ur course to the department for u to see. it took my parents prayer and fasting on mountains and hills b4 I graduated from that department.
Hmmmm. My students refused to graduate. Bleep them all in that department.

Not just a guy.... so many crossed during their post graduate to another department while some just gave up

i can relate to this wella! My first day in oau, when i came for my master degree in mineral exploration, i needed someone to direct me to geology dept. I met a girl n the girl was like, Masters!! Geology!!! I now said to myself: i never by Market so? But thank God the rest is history now.

nothing much dear, they are only strict. No nonsense department. While i was there, im sure they could boast of about 11 professors in department alone. So with this, u need alot of hard work to scale tru. That extra hard work is what peeps shy away from.
