I had to report at the dope joint every morning to get high before heading for lectures. I also drank along side. I got born again and recieved the Holy Ghost at Christ Embassy. I recieved the accurate teaching of God's word. Not the usual "God will do this or do that". No, I was taught "the how'. Through the Word I knew I had the ability of God in me to stop any habit. I was told that I had His life and nature in me. I got to know the Holy Ghost and spoke in tongues. Every bad habbit was broken by the power of God. I will not forget one scripture I meditated on which my pastor taught: "looking (away from all that will distract) unto Jesus the author and finisher of my faith"(Heb 13:2).

Then like a wind all my friends began to give their hearts to Christ. There was an obvious change in my life and there was great power. My close course mates all surrendered to Christ and joined me at Christ Embassy... Some are pastors today. I even noticed some of my drinking buddies hide their bottles cigarates when they see me approaching.

Now you might ask, wat message did I hear? Did they chase me around with " thou shalt not" at CE? Of course not. Did I hear that message before? Of course yes! Did it have an impact? Yes, I felt condemned. Did it change me? NO. They did not have that message that can raise a man in righteousness. You can tell a man sin is bad... That is not news to him. He is already condemned. He is seeking to come out.

I thank God for raising a man like Pastor Chris who is not afraid to preach the whole undiluted Word of God. Look at the man and you'll see the character of Christ. And I am not referring to false humility that deceives the world. You should be grateful to God for him. Nigeria is blessed to have him.

Several times, I have seen Dr. Chris call out armed robbers on crusade grounds and they come out and surrender their weapons. He has called out phone and watch theives right in church and they come out and surrender their items. That is not the power of man. It is the mighty power of God at work.
