Yes I understand that, but what is been done by our journalists in Nigeria can not be the same in the US. You don't just publish anything without verification and proof.
Nigerian journalism depends solely on sensationalism, nothing more. I remember when Abike Dabiri was defamed by a Nigerian paper that had to issue an apology after finding out the truth. Now they've lost some certain level of credibility. Even the herdsmen issue at Enugu then was another failure altogether.
