This tragic accident involving multiple trucks happened earlier today along the "infamous" Lokoja-Okene road where many accidents have been experienced. According to sketchy reports, the crash was caused due to over-speeding of the drivers. The number of casualties is yet to be ascertained....

I passed through this road few hours ago today and the driving of these truck drivers were reckless. Thank God we missed it and for journey mercies.

Bad road apart, the way people drive on Nigerian roads make me wonder at times, if blood is actually flowing in the veins of those reckless drivers. The road rage from Abaji to Okene today was something else. A bus overtook me recklessly around Banda- Lokoja by the time I got to Itakpe I saw the bus four wheels up with a lot of wounded people.
