Help.. Which Is Faster, Android Phone Vs Laptop?

Obviously it should be a laptop.With Mtn 3.5G modem I get 600kb/s -1mb/s,especially in the night,using internet download Mgr.Downloading 4 or 5 movies at a time,which phone can do that?

in my area at midnight with my android phone I get up to 2.8mb per second and it the same when I use my laptop because I use Gspot Sorry Hot-spot (What's the difference anyway! they are both hot)

Guy chill. U are saying android vs laptop, but do u know there are laptops that run on android? Check out chromebook. And there are laptops that run OS X. U just can't say android (OS) vs laptop (device).

guy wetin dey vex you self? technically Android is an operating system that can run on laptop which is an electronic device same as a smartphone. you would have said android smartphone vs a windows or mac laptop.

to answer your question a windows laptop even with a minimum of 2gb ram can easily outperform an android smartphone with impressive specs in terms of multitasking and multiple downloads. Don't even compare both devices, they are world's apart. Mac laptop is even more efficient.

I think that depends on your internet.

Sorry buddy, it depends on modem. Sometimes, network too. There is no way a 7.2Mbps modem in laptop will be faster than an android phone with 22Mbps network speed. If network unleash their full speed, the modem won't work more than its capacity.

It is simple answer what modem are you using to browse,

If it is phone, wifi, usb dongle, tablet ,mifi ....
All the mediun has upload and download cap.. Something like 100/50 or 42.1MBps/ 5.76Mbps

Now the speed you get interms of upload and download depends on the network connetion...

maybe there's no 3g network where u dey, but 4 my area 4mb/s -6mb/s. its amazing when using IDM to download on laptop with modem
