According to the domain information available to the public by wsdata, the Niger Delta Avengers website was registered via proxy by Godaddy Web Service and have been repossessed. One possible reason for such could be that Godaddy have been receiving complains from top Government officials over the activities of the militants. http://wsdata.co/2016-02-05/nigerdeltaavengers.com-domain-information.html Similarly, The world’s largest domain registrar, GoDaddy, had to fend off angry customers on social media earlier today as major technical problems caused over 100,000 websites in Asia Pacific to go offline. GoDaddy is one the world’s most popular web hosts and has over 61 million domain names and 13 million customers under management. According to ThaiTech, users first reported problems on May 29, which were fixed.
