Vardy won the SWA player of the year. It is no mean feat. What I don't like is paying £20m for a 29yo. But then Manure paid £29m for RvP and that was about 4years ago. If Wenger wanted an old man, Higuain would have been a better option, but again who knows...

Vardy is like an English version of a South American forward. He is like Alexis- fast, skillful, and most importantly he can score. Wenger called him the best goal scorer in the league as at December. So lets keep fingers crossed. In Arsene We Trust.

Vardy was phenomenal last year, no doubt. Like I said, I pray it's not a flash in the pan performance. There are players that have nosedived after a very good season (Hazard for example). and again age is not on Vardy's side. We can hope Welbeck or any young striker will pick form in subsequent seasons 'cause they have a lot ahead of them not a 29 yo. See how Van P fizzled out easily.

Thing is, most of us are not ecstatic about this deal. tbh, I'm surprised to read you're not too. Our other fans look more excited.
