I hate Buhari a lot but I don't wish for his death. In the event of Buhari dying while in office, two things will happen. Osibanjo will be immediately sworn as President and he will appoint a Vice President from the core North. The second thing that will happen is that the northerners will find a way to blame Southern Nigeria for Buhari death and a riot will begin where southern Nigeria, particularly Igbos will be targeted to be killed. This might cause Northeners living in southern Nigeria to be targeted. Osibanjo will order the military in to control the situation which will bring about more deaths. In the mean time, Northern leaders will ask Osibanjo to step down to allow the Northern Vice-president to complete Buhari' 8 years. Naturally, Osibanjo will refuse with the full backing of the Yoruba nation. The Northerners will then try to make thing as difficult for Osibanjo as possible. In 2019, APC will then tear its self apart in deciding wether to field the incumbent Osibanjo or a Northerner. While all of this is happening the Niger Delta Avengers, IPOB,MASSOB, BIM will be piling the pressure for the dissolutio of Nigeria.

If buhari dies, best believe the north will do all they can to replace him with another north. Remer the yardua/GEJ scenario. The only reason GEJ won was because the entire south had his back. Osibanjo has just yolobas backing him.

Just like Yorubas used the constitution to back GEJ then, they'd use the same constitution to back Osinbajo.

yeah shonekan was an interim president and awolowo was much brighter than gej but was denied the presidency by the cabal.is it Osin that will survive them
