They are already there. they have the resources and all it takes to do wonderful movies like hollywood's, they won't just do that coz they prefes low budget movies. just imagine releasing movies every week, when quality movies takes like a year or two to produce some even take 90 yrs in post production! (I LIE ).

Do you know the budget of Dead Pool, Fast7, Avenger Age of Ultron, Transformers, Avatar or any of their animated movies. They cost Millions of Dollars(Billions of Naira), Google search and see.
The budget of one Avenger movie will give Nollywood thousands of movie production.

really love these, creativity at its best...that's gonna be me soon with Steven Spielberg, Ridley Scott and alejandro innaritu. I remember that scene from Gladiator.

that was exactly my point. nigerian movie producers prefer low budget movies. they are not willing to take the risk of investing billions on a single movie.

I don't know their net worth, but i know they have been balling for a long long time.

seun lalasticlala and other mods I would be suprised if any of explorers thread is hidden or deleted because his threads are alwalys some of the best here on nairaland. Is always well researched and one of the people I follow on nairaland and also one of the reasons why I come back here. I pray seun look into this asap
