Victorvexz:I will assume you have never traveled out of Nigeria. Your statement is lucid with ignorance. No one has mentioned perfectionism in the republics to emerge. One thing is sure, when Oduduwa Republic emerges, if the SW have the balls to want it, if the Arewastan Republic emerge, if the Northerners have the balls to survive on their own,and if Niger Delta/Biafra Republic emerge, which certainly will, then they will be far better governed than the present day dark republic nickamed Nigeria. Perfection is what you define your eldaredo, I could say I am perfect today and that I am living a perfect life. Who are you to say I am not ? So you see...Stop throwing words around with a deontological abandon. |

Nnachuka:You and the dolts that gave you likes sef! Let me break it down to you like lil'kids! That statement was the last, of a series of statements stating what the "IPOD Times" failed to identify, as "things that we need to do" ...to get better as a nation! Improving our "Educational Sector" so that people like you ca n get "sound, all-round education", instead of the "secessionist propaganda" that is used to fill your brain cells so much so you cant comprehend simple sentences! ![]() Now go back and read my post again, hopefully you can comprehend better now that "Education" has been given to you F.O.C. My point to you is that "break-Up" of the country IS NOT a Solution to Nigeria's problems (good Governance and all those things l mentioned, are more like it) because all the current problems will also reflect in those ethnic enclaves that would be created by a break-Up, except someone can prove to me that the IPODS are not involved in EVERY SINGLE ONE of those problems l listed earlier .....but unfortunately, that is what "Financial IPAD Times" think! ![]() Lastpage! |

BiafranNigerian:Stop this "Attachee-by-force"! You people's GREED for the Niger Delta Oil is is the reason, just like it was in 1967 when you overran the Niger Delta by military force, (up to Oore in Ondo State) and conquered them as a "slave territory"...before the Nigerian Armed Forces came to rescue them Form your Bi@fraud in your landlocked Eastern States, leave the Niger Delta out of it. lastpage:all you are doing is treating a brain injury with vitamin C, nigeria's biggest problem is ethnicity/tribalism, the 3 major tribes do not like or trust each other, then a 2nd factor comes into play, RELIGION. pls go and research the serbia/montenegro/kosovo war. the ingredients that led to the war are all present in our nigeria today. what do the igbos have in common with the north? NOthing, ZERO. not religion, not culture, and they hate each other, so why the sycophancy. the author is correct. the quicker Nigeria dissolves the better, the faster they will develop for those that want to develop. Even your colonial masters had a referendum for scotland to stay or go, why cant the Nigerian govt grant the igbos that opporutnity as well. as for education, pls go outsid e and count how many so called educated people without jobs, even on nairaland there are many empty headed graduates that know absolutely NOthing, and trust me, they are the keyboard warriors on NL that preach violence and bigotry |

BiafranNigerian:My dear @BiafranNigerian, you have not shown yourself to be fair in this discuss of ours as you have severally referred to me as a liar or a fake or worse still both. You don't know me and you are not in a position to doubt my origin just because we don't share the same opinion on this emotional issue. I do not want a war and I don't think it will achieve anything should we start one. I am also sensible enough to know that the powder keg called Nigeria, which we are all sitting atop, cannot be split without an explosion of Syrian proportions. Hence my own stand that we continue to strive/agitate for a more rational Nigeria based on merit rather than might. My position is somewhat based on what Mahatma Gandhi, Nelson Mandela and Martin Luther King Jnr. achieved for their peoples by moral persuasion in comparison to what Colonel Ojukwu, Yasser Arafat etc failed to secure for their people through violence. Another difference between you & I is that you hold the assumption that the 11 states of today's East and South-South will logically want to unite under a single flag and will be so in unison of plans and purpose. I do not hold such views and I know that my own people, to my best knowledge, have no desire to be in the same country with a few other ethnicities in the region. But then, I speak for myself as I claim no representation of any community. Should you still insist that only you are from the Niger-Delta and that I be banished on the ground that our opinions defer, you only further confirm my worries that their are no guarantees that the people of the constituent republics will not break further in multiple splinter wars that will have no ends in sight! S/Sudan remains a perfect example. |

Any Igbo man (or woman) who believes in 'one Nigeria' after the beheading of an Igbo woman in Kano must be a morron. It is best for the Igbo nation to work to leave Nigeria, and as we leave, we take Southern minorities who are comfortable with us along and leave those who are not comfortable with us behind. In any case "one Nigeria" died a long time ago. It is time to turn a new page with a new country. |

Victorvexz:In fact you're the one dreaming, at this age people are looking for a way to get to sun while African man is looking for a way back to the bush, resources comes and go, what happened to cocoa, coal, groundnut of old? You better start looking for a way of technology cuz your oil will soon become less relevant, if Biafra eventually come to be, I trust them their economy will be technologically based, they're naturally skilful and talented, as you know countries with technology are more advanced and developed than countries with natural resources. |
