Wife of the President Mrs Aisha Buhari, accompanied by Mrs Dolapo Osinbajo, wife of the Vice President, paid a visit to Baby Musa today, June 7 at the hospital where he is currently receiving treatment.

"The doctors have said that he will recover but sadly he will suffer some permanent damage, cruelty meted out to a minor is intolerable. I hereby call on the government of Kano State to ensure that justice is served to the perpetrators of this dastardly act. Our children are our future, they should be nutured and protected." Mrs Buhari stated.

AN early morning report this morning indicated that Nigeria’s seat of power, Aso Rock, in Abuja, is already deserted.

Not even security men who were on roster for the night dared to keep their watch.

The ultimatum given by Joint Niger Delta Liberation Front (JNDLF) to Nigerians, warning them to vacate certain structures in the country expired today at 12 midnight.

The zero hour is here, and since then, everything has been quiet all fronts around those structures.
