I feel so sad for his children, losing their two parents within the space of a year sad. May God comfort and console them. RIP Steven Keshi

Unfortunately Nigeria doesn't know how to immortalize fallen heroes. Okwaraji and goal-machine Yekini readily comes to mind.

One of the best coaches in Africa. What a big loss.

This is my favourite Keshi goal.

Nigeria vs Senegal at the 1992 Nations Cup in Senegal.

I was a bit worried that we were going to play the hosts, but my brother was more confident. He said that we always defeat tournament hosts because we are usually more serious when we play them. I thought of this game as the Keshi vs Bocande match and I was right. The two captains determined the result of the game.

Siasa scored first for Nigeria and Bocande equalised after a mistake by Keshi. Then Keshi fired in a lovely shot in the dying minutes of the game and it ended

Nigeria 2-1 Senegal.

I found out (on Segun Odegbami's Sunday Sports Show) that this goal was voted the third best goal of the competition. My brother felt that it was the best goal.
