My advice to the govt will be to evacuate families in those communities away from those oil installations for the time being and anybody found in those communities shd be arrested or killed as the case maybe.

I thought the two Mohammeds despatched to the creeks to stop the Avengers said on TV yesterday that they had arrested some members of the Avengers, another information said that the boss of Avengers was also arrested.

C'mon guys these are just pipelines. Its not really a big deal grin grin

Human beings die everyday in Nigeria but it doesn't make news. Why should pipeline bombings make news?
Because I don't have light for almost a week now

If their leaders are sincere enough and people oriented, the region would have far developed beyond this long ago instead it only made them lazy the more

In many parts of warri, some lazy ijaws and urhobos are tenants in one room apartment with the numerous family in an Igbo man house because the sold out all they inherited and blew it up on drinks and women

These guys should wake up because even if u give them autonomy to this oil, there will still be division amongs the various tribes in the region
Let me say something, from the view of an Economist, A Niger Delta is 100x times more valuable than any other tribe in Nigeria, don't u get it, Nigeria's export is 95% oil, his gas provides 80% of electricity and powers all the refineries. The Oil it's foreign Companies that explore it, NNPC is jst an overbloated Money collecting agency. U understand the economic implication of oil, that's Y U talk too much, Look @ the 3 largest economies in sub Saharan Africa, South Africa(Gold, Platinum,Diamomd,Coal), Nigeria(Oil), Angola(Oil).

All options for a peaceful resolution have been explored by the government. I think Nigerians and the international community should be made to understand that after which a full scale assault is launched against these virmins so they can be extinguished once and for all.

Edit:

It seems the surest way of getting likes by the Lost Children of Uganda from Ugandans these days is quoting Omenka everytime he makes a comment and insulting him. Just like every other, this one is fast turning into another Omenka quoting thread. cheesy

Tomorrow they'd flatten their chest as they pound it relentlessly shouting "you are irrelevant", yet they simply can't IGNORE him.

We all are in support of a decisive action against criminals. But, you see, most of the time the military only go on looting peoples' homes, harassing and killing innocents citizens, raping young girls and married women and outright display of cowardice.

Sometimes the military behaves like a terrorist organization in the sense that the kill the innocent to spite their opponents.

Stop deceiving yourself. A full scale war will not solve anything. The only solution is that we practice full FISCAL FEDERALISM. I thought your party supported fiscal federalism when they were in opposition, why is it difficult for you guys now that you guys are in power?
Let him work for the crumbs they throw at him.

Under GEJ Apart from 9ja becoming Africa's biggest economy, 16 new universities, available fuel, decent electricity in many places, better roads, better airports, a boom in agriculture, automobile companies bringing assembly plants to 9ja and more, his best effort was trying to restructure the fake federal system 9ja has. Through Confab. Because the positive impact could last centuries.
Now the Confab report will be consigned to the bin by the North.

After unleashing Boko on GEJ's regime, the same people went on to blame him for insecurity.

This same government has told us that the military will not be sent after fulani herdsmen/terrorists militia but the military is every where in the Niger Delta and SE.

Don't you have shame?

Fiscal federalism, count me totally IN. I've always said that so there's no use preaching it to me. What I'm saying is it has to be negotiated with civility and not this barbarism being cheered on by a some people who've never seen a corpse in their lives but want to witness a war.

No government should be bamboozled into accepting the terms of anyone in a sovereign country.
Sometimes a little arm twisting like this is necessary to force obstinate govts like we have in Nigeria reason in that direction.
