greatiyk4u:I think that's the idea. The will make it childish while achieving their target and creating decoys till Nigeria runs broke. By the time salaries are not paid all workers both federal down to LG's, there will be confusion and people will naturally yell on the government to yield to their demands the same way people indirectly yielded to the demands of BH by voting GEJ out and replacing him with buhari since most Nigerians perceived that it was because of GEJ BH was terrorizing Nigeria and bombing innocent citizens and since he couldn't stop them, he should go. The same script I believe is being played. |

TippyTop:I might be a little too harsh but why should the rest of Nigeria share 50% of the oil from the ND. That presupposes we are still dependent on oil 100% What happens to the mineral resources in other regions? Every region should develop what is residing in their region, simple. It will make everyone work towards self sustainance much more than any 50% share from the oil. Agriculture, mineral resources, tourism can take care of each region if we know what we are doing. I dare say that the money gotten from selling fuel can be matched with proceeds from agriculture that would make those producing the agric products to live comfortably. Nigerias story is like a 6 brothers whose parent helped their first son to get a lucrative job where he earns 1M a moth and then shares it with his brothers, because he is the one working he gets 300k and the rest share the remaining 700k somewhat equally. They are reluctanct to get a job that they would earn 500k a month each which is better than the 150k they get from their brothers sweat just because they feel the eldest who is the one working will now have the 1M to himself. Stupidity at its peak. |

| Re: Ultimate Warriors of Niger Delta Emerges, Demands 60% Oil Bloc by excel101(m): 10:24pm On Jun 08, 2016 |
YoursGEJ:The issue is not what they do with their 13%, is it better for the north that has no single oil well be allocated about 80% of oil bloc? Let the Govt give them 60% of the oil bloc, how they use it is no ones business. |
| Re: Ultimate Warriors of Niger Delta Emerges, Demands 60% Oil Bloc by goziem1982(m): 10:29pm On Jun 08, 2016 |
Using your resources to develop other places while your place is not developed in the name of one Nigeria is too bad, govt should do the right thing. |

ibe9ja:U talk like a child! Their demands are okay..one thing I hate about we Nigerians is that we hide truth a lot. Why not go ahead with these projects in that region? What is so difficult in taking up strategic projects in that region by FG? Why can't that region b made the commercial city of the country? Why Lagos? U want to shoot at anythinh Biafra? U are really kidding me! Is it wrong to want to divorce ur partner? Why can't Nigeria call these guys and agree a referendum? Hey, even Britain who brought this mess on us doesn't run her country like the way they structured ours! What is so hard to understand that Biafra has right to want to quit the union? For nature's sake this ppl feel they can do better if allowed to be on their own, why not allow them go and allow those who wants to join Nigeria to do so at their own will and these whole mess will end? Shooting Biafra can't stop Biafra , if not, the Biafra thing wouldn't av started again after their people died in their million. Think wise bro and wake up from sentiment. In a sane society, na u and I go go street and press our govt to give room for referendum for these guys...Nigeria has never worked and may never work |
| Re: Ultimate Warriors of Niger Delta Emerges, Demands 60% Oil Bloc by codedguy1(m): 10:34pm On Jun 08, 2016 |
YoursGEJ:I share most of your sentiments and the truth is our leaders in the ND are thieves and rogues that are bereft of ideas to develop the region. But we have people that can do the right thing to revamp that ND with the capital, mineral and human resources we have. But my point is what would be the business of other regions if we generate our own wealth and fritter it away it would be our business to solve. It the whole middle belt is generating 500B Naira a year from agric, tourism, Ajaokuta steel complex and mineral resources in their area and managed well, what would be the business of the MB if SS generate 1trillion dollars a year and fritter it away. It would not be their business and they would not be able to hold other regions to ransome by blowing up the ONLY source of income. Infact shame will make them realise that things have to change. Rice Maize Cassava can be the crude oil in other regions. Think about it, the amount of people that eat cassava, maize and Rice can be compared with people that use fuel. These things are also money spinners from other Zones, talkless about feeding west Africa. We need to diversify by collapsing the unitary system and yes hold leaders accountable. |

Lytech:How do you plan to enjoy the even distribution of your resources when everywhere will be on fire? Since you can't see beyond your nose, let give you an insight of what is to come when Nigeria breaks up. More millitant groups will spring up and because there won't be any immediate constituted authority to maintain law and order, there will be blood bath, tears, and chaos left, right and center as there will be a continuous battle for supremacy and who controls the oil. It will be so bad, you will regret ever being born. Keep on praying for the fall of Nigeria at your own peril. Everything will be destroyed like they did in Syria and guess what? It will never be rebuilt because this is africa. |

YoursGEJ:bros Your post is the most sensible I ave seen here in more than a month. This has always been my stand. Those so called militants are a bunch of miscreants and thugs who never deserved amnesty. If the goverment give in to there demands or negotiates with them now another bunch of idiots will come up again. The current FG need to correct the mistake of the past and use a sledge hammer to kill this annoying cockroach. Declare an all out war against them turn the cities into an inferno and the creeks to a death trap to them. The creek is not an endless land comb it and destroy anything that breathes without authorisation and I assure you they will not even think of it again |
