A child standing on a tree cannot see as far as an elder standing under the tree. most of these wailers are post teenagers (20-25) who make judgement based on sentiment, peer pressure and ignorance. Gej was badluck , pdp is cancerous, apc knows if they fumble then they should kiss aso rock goodbye forever. 2015 election has shown our politicians power indeed belongs to the people and as such buhari might not get us to the promise land but Nigeria is on the right path to glory.

How sustainable is this project looking at the current economic realities.

we always put the cart before the horse and that's why we are on auto reverse.

why not focus on reviving the economy so that parents can be busy and cater for their children.

States in Nigeria have tried this project and it failed woefully.

Buhari needs a serious economic team. without it all these happening is jamboree.

we are going down for his ineptitude and cluelessness.

by the end of June we will be in full fledged recession if we record another negative ratio in GDP.

I still don't think this is a good idea
We know in Nigerian politics u promise alot and most times people who will vote for u don't vote because of the promises
How will this money add to our GDP... . Unless this food will be provided by the proposed prison farms...
We need to pump money into the agric allied industry...
People need loans to start business, they will pay tax, which is more revenue and will employ people
I said I don't in any way support this. ... At all

Another way to loot, very soon it'll be cancelled....

Just like El-rufai, he started the feeding from Mondays to fridays and after 3 months it was reduced to Wednesdays and Fridays only.... Now I heard he's planning on feeding d kids just once in a week IC. Fridays, and before u know it... It'll be completely scrapped off.

We will endure the failed promises of APC till 2019

Honestly I can not see any sense in this program. It is good only for the northern children (Almajiris) What we want in the south is parent empowerment. Parent will feed their children better if empowered.
Instead government should start giving child benefits like advanced country to each mother.

Skepticism is not a virtue. If you ever gone to school without food in your stomach, this comment will not arise. Contribute to make it sustainable.

Total and Nonsensical venture, and a display of APC hypocrisy and lack of creativity.

You destroy their parents source of livelihood, No light, No job, No business, they can't afford fuel, kerosene, gas at home and you want to feed their children biscuit .

It only a matter of time before they can't afford to transport their children to that school.

Then you tell me who you feed that biscuit.

Confused Government.

And fools will celebrate that children are given biscuit when teachers can't feed.

So how is this crap related to the fact that some cook somewhere is going to be responsible for what my kids eat in school?
I understand your primitive logic would be to ask if it is by force to eat. In which case i would want to ask if you have seen where a kid is eating biscuit while another hungry kid looks without any hope of getting some.

This is a laudable programme. It is going to have multiplying effects on the economy. School children are going to be healthier and better prepared to learn. The thought of being fed at school alone will reduce school absenteeism. Many farmers and caterers are also going to be engaged....The only issue is sustainability. Free school feeding is not a novel thing as many state governments have once tried it out, but later abandoned it. I think the government should seek advice from Aregbesola, he initiated a similar programme when I just gained admission to a school in Osun state and the programme was sustained till I graduated. I don't know if school children in Osun are still being fed till now.

Doesn't change anything in Nigeria. Doesn't add any value. If parents can pay their children's school fees, why can't they feed their children. This is opening another way for massive looting and corruption. Later they will tell us that they're spending 14K feeding a child per day. Like one NLDNR (navierstokes) said: "this almajeri govt is good at majoring in minor issues and minoring in major issues". Let's see how far it gets.

Nobody will force your kids to eat the meal provided by the government.
