As the All Progressives Congress, APC-led government at the centre, after one year in office, is losing grounds over failed campaign promises, comatose economy and security challenges, some politicians have started gearing up for the 2019 general election confident that the failure of the present government will create vacancy in Aso Rock presidential villa.

A lot of politicians are already oiling their political machinery ahead of 2019 but they are keeping their plans close to their chest. The other day it was Senator Godswill Akpabio who was denying that he was not eyeing the presidency for 2019 even when some have started projecting him.

The other day, it was Governor Rochas Okorocha of Imo State who was ready to swear even more than St. Peter, the apostle that he was not eyeing the presidency. Why were they are afraid and jittery about making their intentions known even if they had such intention?

It is because, according to Nigerian factor, President Muhammadu Buhari is supposed to go for two tenures before he relinquishes power.

Yes! Sure they can

First they must review their structure.

Do what APC hasn't done. Jettison dos old men who have nothing to offer.

Get young mind between 30 to 45 or maybe 50.

Go back and do a background check on our history. Have their youths launch a full scale idealistic war against any opposition.

That way, I think they'd stand a big chance
