obiremy:All the while the security operatives in this country have been killing Ipob/massob agitators during their peaceful protest, I have not seen nor heard that a weapon was recovered from them. Why is there so much injustice in this Nation, where in the world would security operatives open fire on unarmed civilian doing peaceful protest? And we are talking about peace and unity. |

Our service men need to improve their handling of mass protests. They must understand that the whole world is watching in most cases. |

The fact is innocent lives were lost which is wrong on de part of the army but at the same time the protest cannot all be classified as innocent since the lives of 2 policemen were lost which clearly proves that some supporters were actually armed and dangerous which permits de brutal use of force by security forces... In summary, in any battle there is always collateral damage... Sad though for the families of those affected but it could have been easily avoided if they hadn't gone out. Yes peaceful protest is a fundamental right but be warned not every protester is prepared to be as peaceful as you. So be careful else you die for what somebody else has committed. |

irunooboo:Look at this cheap, dirty, smelly and ugly ashawo putting mouth anyhow in ipob matter. I see your ashawo business is only @ night that's why you have alot time to write trash everytime on NL. Do yourself a favor, you can make some extra cash by working the days. You must not comment on every post, just for the sake of being noticed. NL is not a place for prostitutes concentrate on your favorite sexuality section, you probably have better chances there. For those who might think I just want to insult her, the proof is here

once nigerians elected that aging buffon, i knew that military style police state has returned. but our people were too blind to see. . . . . I also knew that igbos will be at the cross-hairs . . . . . I didnt imagine however that the buffon will carry out massive slaughter of shiite muslims in kaduna. well. . . . once a dictator. . . . .always a dictator live by the gun die by the gun . . . . . #Buhari's-year-of-pain

How peaceful where they when records have it that they were molesting & beating up innocent people!? My friend was a seriously beaten up by this ipob/massob guys. If they want to protest anything, let them do it legally and not subject innocent ppl to unnecessarily bad experiences. Likei: |

Anyone calling for the break up of Nigeria deserves the bokoharam treatment. Bokoharam has flags, IPOB has flags. Their common objective is to establish a sovereign state out of Nigeria which will never happen. Lord luggard saw the strength in our diversity before handing over power to the north. This is why the easterners are angry and will not subject themselves to northern oligarchs but unfortunately ojukwu later realized igbos progress is in Nigeria and can only be attained by co-operation with the west and north. If the igbos are ready to denounce biafra we will gladly vote in an igbo president. Biafra will never come in Jesus name. Amen
