What are the tribes Ibos have won over? Even the Ijaws use Ibos as a stepping tool. Ijaws don't need to fight for GEJ online because they know Ibo slaves will do that job. How many Inaws do you see online smooching GEJ's azz?

It's threads like this that really annoy me. The general Nigerian populace should be aware by now of the fact that Igbo people do not historically form a single block of people until colonization. No joint military action occurred between "Igbo" and other Nigerians until the Biafran war. That was a loss. Before this, most interaction "Igbo" communities had in pre-recorded history was between them and other "Igbo" communities.

Most interaction, such as settlement in what is now called "Igboland", was pretty laissez-faire. Heterogeneous hamlets, villages and townships were formed without much intervention and disturbance. It was rare for any fighting to occur across town lines, as such it was rare to see any sort of large scale militaristic mobilization. At the "fringes" (something that did not exist until colonization), there are scores of townships and villages which constitute various hamlets of various settlement history and very few record any major conflicts that exceed family feuds.

To that extent, "Igbo" communities do not share history, despite this "Igbo" label people keep using. So, it should come as no surprise then why most Igbo cannot recall a single battle fought against other Nigerian groups. Most Igbo communities did not fight battles against other Nigerian groups, period. And where a historical battle did occur, its relevance was limited only to the communities which were involved.

And until this day, nothing in pre-recorded history is shared as an aspect of modern "Igbo" history. No one should expect to hear much about pre-recorded historical battles between "Igbo" and "non-Igbo".

So when did Yorubas claim to defeat many tribes?

Ibos claim bravery, you think bravery is making noise online and asking your people to fast and pray?

Lol there a reason why the Oyo empire is known today and the arochikwu war is not noted in history.

Ibos are cowards and chestbeaters. Simple.

Which war have y'all won? Even your women are more brave the your men.
Maybe you should start reading the post of your blother, ridawbyo or wetin him dey call himself. Infact, any thread about NDA or IPOb, read it and Pay CLOSE attention to what your people write.

Oyo empire is known for what? Nri Kingdom that's known as one of the oldest civilization and Ekemeku war that's known as the longest resistance against Europeans and this one is shouting Oyo empire. And so? Is Oyo empire the tribe yoloba defeated.

Make me ask my question again

What are the names of the tribes Yoloba have been chest beating they defeated.

If na mouth action and screaming, we'll give that to una. But since you're claiming "we won wars against many tribes". Oya we want know how the first tribe to get colonized easily and also ONLY tribe to get defeated by women automatically won several war against several tribes. Name am.

Stop beating around the bush

Fact is, you can't mention any way the Ibos have won because those cowards haven't won any ish. Simple hunger strategy conquered the unplanned Biafra suicide.

Nigga I went to school with Ashanti people so I know Ashanti history. Many of their people are extremely proud and love to share their history whenever you ask. Since I'm a history buff, nigga I've asked. They don't Know una!!!!!!!! This one I know for sure and I got it straight from the source.

Since we know Fulani mopped una asses so lying to us that you dragged them in Oyo and Osun is so hilarious Idk how to even laugh at it without hurting my stomach.

As for Egun...considering we see how you people have been trying desperately to annex them as Yoloba and they came out last year to denounce una claiming them...if you defeated their people, they would have accepted that claim afterall you live in their land. So the ones in Nigeria you can't even annex but you want us to believe you defeated the ones in BENIN Republic. ROTLMFAOOOOOOOOO okay. I believe you

Lastly, your adekunle ain't do shit at all but took credit. According to Alabi ISAMA your adekunle was in LAGOS predominately of the time at war. Almost every fight accredited to adekunle was him leading while adekunle laying sat in Lagos taking credit. Infact the only one adekunle led, they lost BAD.

I was going to ignore the thread, but the overwhelming ignorance of Nigerians would not let me. I blame the Nigerian government. Because the government does not actually care about its people, it does nothing to accurately share and teach the history of the various groups. If you go to other countries you will see how the academia has treated research into their own local histories, yet Nigerians (for all their talk about being educated) act like apes.

See how he's trying to change story

Name the tribe yoloba won wars against?

Haba na hard questione d be?

While I'm at it, biafran soliders killed more of your Nigerian soliders and that hunger strategy was their desperation to save themselves. Better go and read your history. Small, handful, of soliders with little to no weapon slaughtered your army in droves that they resulted to chasing after their unarmed civilians. Amaala m. That is why I left out specific conflicts between Igbo and non-Igbo communities. This is NL, where someone else will claim to know you better than you know yourself. This is NL where very few care about intelligent interaction. So, I just gave a general response, focusing on "Igbo" as a group, as opposed to sharing any of the specific "sub-ethnic" histories and traditions. Otherwise, you will see people coming to debate me on something that they themselves did not know beforehand (why else would this thread have been opened?)
