Students of the School for the Handicapped, Aliade, Benue State protested yesterday and barricaded the Makurdi-Otukpo road.


The students were protesting the inability of the state government to pay their teachers salaries for several months.


They also alleged that they had been abandoned by the government and hadn’t eaten for three days prior to the protest.

These students are ones to whom ENT treatment would have been better appreciated if possible not someone who won't listen to voices of reason even when his too ears are functioning well.

The state govt should look into issues raised by these students asap.

The state Govt should work towards fixing this mess..
