The youths wing of the Christain Association of Nigeria,
CAN, Osun State, has noted that Governor Rauf Aregbesola has mapped out plans to erase all traces of Christians’ heritage in the state particularly in public schools.
In a communique issued at the end of their meeting and
signed by the state Chairman, Owo-Ofe, A.N, and the state
Secretary, Evangelist Timilehin Popoola, the youths also
opined that Aregbesola is already working towards a
process of Islamization of the state which they said was
earlier stated in 2012 by the Directorate of Military
Intelligence and corroborated by OSCAN in 2014.
The youths who noted that they would oppose this dubious agenda of Aregbesola urged the Governor not to implement the judgement of Justice Saka Falola which he delivered on Friday 02 June, 2016, that female pupils in all public schools should be allowed to wear hijab to schools without any harassment.

The governor is like a man who invited a thief to another man's farm at the same time alerted the owner to come and catch the thief.

In this matter of hijab, The Governor is the prosecutor, defendant, lawyer, and the judge at the same time.

This is Nigerian politics, we know how it plays exactly!!!

But I want to advise the osun Christians to go about their complaints maturely and legitimately, there's no room for violence in Christianity

Even though I detest islam, I see nothing wrong in allowing muslim students to wear hijab in public schools as long as they don't enforce the ruling in private schools and christian missionary schools.

What a wicked minset... Why not allow the muslims to serve God in peace. Hijab doesnt disturb anyone anymore than the churches and mosque that disturb our peace so why the hatred!?

Wickedness is beheading people in Kano, not condemning an obviously wrong verdict. Hijab isn't part of school uniform. If they should wear hijab, then masquerade attires and Olumba Olumba and reverend sister attires should also be allowed.

CAN ARE SURE HYPOCRITES ! HOW DOES ALLOWING HIJAB FOR MUSLIMS ONLY CUMULATE TO ISLAMIZATION OF OSUN STATE?

It is only a vagabond that will say muslims should not use hijab. What christians are saying is that it shouldn't be used in Christian schools. Why will the Judge favour a religious sect? It shows that there Judiciary is partial. There should be a common ground for both parties. Hijab has never been part of school uniform.

Introduction of hijab can be part of the process.

Okay I get the point now, muslims as usual are trying to impose their islamic culture on christian schools. If they are not ready to comply with the school regulations, then they should go and find a muslim or better still an almajiri school that will condone their lousy dress code.
