See guy, there is something about policy somersault or inconsistency that you people dont understand.It distorts the entire system
and drives investors away by miles.

Would you rather they dump everything the last government did and develop their own from the scratch?

For how long are we going to continue to abandon projects started by one regime just because we dont like their faces. Why
do you think there are several abandoned projects all over the country.

While they may have maligned previous admin.it still does not mean they cannot continue the good projects that were in place
before they came on board.

It is not policy somersault bro, it is continuation but, propaganda somersault! The only way to make sustainable progress is to stop the mentality of previous govt are bad we are saints!
Nation building is continuous. The previous admin didn't destroy nigeria but,should have done better. That agreed let the current govt sustain and deepen the laudable work the previous did while adding their own new ones if they can.

Their negative narration of a destroyed economy is actually harming the economy more than anything else. Govt is continuum and every govt has good intentions!

One thing we need to understand in this country is that, there are good projects conceived by successive government but not implemented because of corruption and favoritism or what i called project without funds to complete. for the first time in Nigeria, a new government is refusing to award new contracts but insisted on completing well concieved projects of the previous adminstration. this is very good and you can see the level of accountability and information being made public.

So, someone should tell me how a contractor will collect money now and not perform? My people i must tell you that this change is painful and difficult, but i am 100% sure that Nigeria will be better for it. have you seen the way the rich people are also groaning now? I work in the financial institution, you hardly see people moving huge funds every where like before, your spending now should be seen to match up with your income.

As a people we need to change our thinking, we should ask questions and stop worshiping moneybags, they are humans and most of them thrive on our common wealth. how will a man who is just a local govt chairman worth 1 billion when a professor cannot even afford a brand new car? yet as a people we will worship the chairman and mock the Professor.

My people we need this change, it is for our good and that of our future generation.... just to add, by 2018 Nigeria will not import Rice, wheat and Maize isn't that a good news... change is gradual please

Oya oya. let the money flow into the streets! Everytin has been on standstill. For those still wailing that Jona's time was better, what they dnt see is that the state of the economy is the reality we ought to hav faced long ago, not too sure where Jona would have led us, as for Buhari too pretty slow in responding to the needs around him, bottom line is he is d president for now and got some few years. Nigerians showed they would kick any one out who they deem in capable so if u fall hand Buhari you will go, in the mean time ur being watched and u hav ur short comings yes but change is truly gradual.

Budget is based on Projected income meaning it's a present continuous form of moving money around to stimulate the economy.
Not having enough money in the treasury hasn't stopped us from earning money to fund the budget.
We are still generating revenue on a daily basis

Maybe you can ask Chartered Accountants around the world, the purpose of reconciliation and suspense account. Possibility you can ask Professor while significant level for testing hypothesis are not set to 100%. May I ask you if the mobile phone or computer you used in typing this including the solar/electricity power in powering it were made without try and error.

Meanwhile, I remember a quote "if you never make mistake, you have never made a decision". However, there is clear difference between effective planning/decision making in a democratic setting and try & error approach in solving an economic issue.

You fail to see the difference between academics/research and practice: they are miles apart and not to be used in leadership and governance.

In your dreamy world of hypothesis/testing You should know that even in the university system, there are 2 different paths in the masters level : Professional masters degree and Academic masters.

I'm into eng'g, so I can tell u, that ur car won't start might be due to several different faults! Pin-pointing d particular fault will take great luck, experience or painstaking and expensive troubleshooting!

I've got a friend who is an auditor for a conglomerate and he relates how he has to go outside d box to discover some frauds and d trails are so complex!

I can go on n on, but don't let me bore u or even av to weep at ur naivety!
