Lagosians experienced a heavy downpour early Wednesday morning but what Ajah residents of the state are experiencing is more than the rainfall. Lagos does not have good water drainage system. What else do you expect when the rich men decides to use their connections to built houses on water drainage channels or prevent gutter to be dugged outside their houses because it smells or bring about accumulated wastes. the island is water logged yet pple still buy land nd biuld der, na normal tin jor. in saner countries they put amenities in place before building houses, for here na to build anyhow and later start to dig gutter leading to no where  , if not for proximity to VI person no suppose dey live dis axis o. somewhere around argungi lekki below 8 Likes 2 Shares

...that your house is flooded does not mean that the whole of Ajah is flooded. I just drove into Ajah now so stop giving us the kind of Lai Mohammed information. From your pictures, where is the Mobil estate. Sometimes I wonder the kind of info people put up here. Whenever it rains in the country ,that's when.You.know most states and.cities where just added MAKEUP to.make them look beautiful ,without proper drainage system, which I blame the engineers and town planning Act of the country more also the common man is not left out cos our neglecting altitudes to rubbish waste which is littered on the streets thereby clotting the drainage to overflow when their is rain. |
