What she was wearing is of no concern of yours or mine. There are people who wish their children could be better than them, maybe the woman is that type of person.

The baby is not under any obligation to use hijab however it doesn't mean that she cannot use the hijab. Babies try to remove shoes all the time yet people force it on them. In fact, some also try to stop their mothers from wearing clothes for them, does that mean their mothers shouldn't.

Incidentally I was in the bus this evening and a woman decking her tight trouser and tied scarf but wore her suckling baby hijab. The baby continued removing the hijab each time they adjusted it for her. I had to tell the woman to let the baby be and she had to remove the hijab.

Please leave those kids alone.

Letz face the facts staring us in the face... Religion has not helped Nigeria or Nigerians. The most developed countries in the world were built by pragmatism, fastidiousness and ideals. Instead of the government to deemphasize religion as regards public institutions, they are fanning the embers of religious unrest. Buh what baffles me the most is that a whole governor doesn't have the foresight to know that this a sensitive issue and approach with caution

Both the Judge Jide Falola and Gov. Aregbesola are sick not to have envisaged the brouhaha and kerfuffle the wearing of Hijab to public would generate.
Aregbesola was not a tycoon before becoming Osun state governor; today he has almost $500m in USA alone, yet Osun state and its people are dwelling in total state of lack.

look clearly, u'll observe that every single Hijab there is white, they wear the same colour of Hijab. But such cannot b said about those wearing robes. The question is, does an average Christian girl wear Robes as part of her normal day dressing? D answer is NO, but if u see 1000girls today wearing Hijab, u don't need to b told that they're Muslims. Why are we intolerant when it comes to religion in this country.

Please check the name of the school and tell me who is being intolerant

So does that mean Muslims who do not wear hijab because they are in the military or police force are not decently dressed? There is something called official dress code and it is different from private dress.
Dat's a very gud example u've given up there, but armed forces generally av their exceptional rules, military men aren't allowed to keep beards, officers shouldn't b seen on motorcycles.
Even in sports, Muslim girls are allowed to compete with their hijabs on. D 2 of are seeing this issue from a totally different angle. If only we could av more tym to share ideas and make ourselves see reasons in our points. But ion av much spare tym

We should separate state matters from religious matters if we ever want to achieve greatness as a nation.
In this country we hope religion to the extent we say opening and closing prayers at a meeting to steal public funds. I just laugh at the intangible things we make big deal out of.
Can we prove that mode of dressing in line with religious belief has an effect (direct or indirect) on the level of intelligence or knowledge absorption of students?
"Two wrongs don't make a right", but (Three left turns make a right turn) "The son that has decided to die in the dry season's mother shall not fail to bury him by the river side".
So I think when the whole system crumbles the initial mode of dressing will be returned to by all.
On a lighter note: or we convert to our native wear.
Re: Osun Students Appear In Church Garments by temmiedebbie(f): 10:35pm On Jun 14, 2016
But seriously why would anyone blame the government for this? The ruling came from the court not the government and instead of the Christians to behave like Christ whom we serve, NO we threw caution and common sense into the wind and started to behave like the " unbelievers" whom we are supposed to convert to our faith through our behaviours in order to score cheap political points. The Governor has called the two parties to order to no avail.

It pains me seeing people speak ignorantly. A good Muslim will never separate religion from his affairs. All these shouting here and there does concern me.My concern is that we Muslim should know more about Islam and be firm in. Most of what the non-muslims know abt Islam is what those propaganda of falsehood tell them.
I think it high time we stood up to the task.Let them know what the real Islam is.
They tell us we are intolerant while they oppress us.When the constitution u claim to follow says there is freedom of religion how can u deny me hijab when it is one of fundamentals of my religion?
How can u force me to sing on assembly ground every morning when this is against my religion?Imaging some telling u can't practice as a doctor because of ur beard. They behave as if Muslims don't exist at all. They have turned all places to church;in car, hospitals etc etc
Let stand up against all these.
Nigeria is for all of us.Respect my faith and I respect urs.

Christians in Choir uniforms? Very wrong.. we're Christians, we don't need Choir uniforms to distinguish ourselves from the world but our behaviour, lifestyle and our declaration of what we believe in should be enough. In the words of Peter: "ESV:but let your adorning be the hidden person of the heart with the imperishable beauty of a gentle and quiet spirit, which in God's sight is very precious." 1 Peter 3:4

God is watching all, as we are destroying His properties on earth!

Aregbesola will remain the useless governor Osun has ever produced. Is HIJAB our problem? You failed to pay salary yet you want to cause war in the State. I hope my Muslims brothers and sister will disown Aregbe with his useless step, both the Muslims and the Christian are hungry and the only thing you can thing of is legalizing HIJAB.

I urge the Sango, Esu, Ailala, Obatala, Osun worshipers too to go to school with their deties attires.

That is what you get if you have such a divisive personality governing a state, I believe this state has existed for many years and this was never an issue so why now? is it to deflect the fact that he has not paid salaries? only the divisive one can tell.

Hmmm. NL is really filled with kids who think they have arrived because they own a phone and access to internet.

If maintaining my stance that uniforms are decent wears means that I don't know my place, then you certainly need the space between your eyes examined and quickly too before things go wrong.

I take it you saying Nigeria would still be here had Jonathan done something like that? Continue playing the ostrich. ain't in support of what CAN is doing in Osun, but please don't talk about intolerance when you would never accept it if the roles were reversed.
