Take a look at Nigerian budget and tell me while an igbo man will like to remain in Nigeria. Which project is to be executed at Abia state, IMO state, Ebonyi state, and Enugu state?

there is one fact people keep forgetting.if igbos leave Lagos today,the Lagos that will be left behind will be different from the Lagos as it is known today.the economic activities will be severely affected.
In 1993,during the June 12 crisis,between June and August of that year.a lot of Igbos left Lagos for the East and because of the heavy bank withdrawals and very few economic activities,many banks nearly collapsed.any body who doubts should ask.
so the issue of igbos being illegal immigrants in Lagos will never arise rather it should be the other way.

Lol.. .that is the assumption you guys made that you developed Lagos and if you leave Lagos ,the economy of Lagos will cripple..they are lots of multi nationals, companies owned by foreigners and they pay tax. If some traders decides to leave doesn't mean our economy will cripple, other people will take over and life goes on my brother. ..the bank theory you gave is not relevant.. Banks weren't regionalized in 1993, so if igbos withdraw their money in a Nigerian bank in Lagos state won't they deposit it in another Nigerian bank in the east. .so in your own thinking withdrawals will cripple Lagos.. As if igbos are the only one in Lagos.. .the truth is you guys want One Nigeria more than anybody

Being capital means little. They will have their currency. They will have their own international airports, direct access to other nations for bilateral agreement without a second party who always seek what is in their for his region.

Budget will be centralized in the region even if its one dollar than having to settle with little or no federal presence in the region.

As a nation, many multi national coy will have head offices in one state of the nation or may not operate at all.

Will have its own central bank.

They are two many benefit that has job creation potential to name.

That is a lie over told. A visionless leader will not prefer to land in Lagos than build and international airports for himself.

What about central bank, etc.

You don't need leadership for most basic things to take effect. It is progress that need leadership not start up.

I have said it over and over again. It will create competition among African nation for development.

They don't voice out their opinion to leave Nigeria because of the fear of being intimidated and stripped by the Nigerian government not because they don't want it. Only those who have nothing to loose are shouting it to the roof top. Empower them in Nigeria they will forget Biafra.

But they have much to gain in Biafra without oil than in Nigeria with oil.

If the exit of the federal government with all their petrodollars did not destroy Lagos what exactly are you talking about?, even KAI are tired of chasing roadside hawkers who just wouldn't go back to their villages, yeye dey smell.
