Gov. Aregbesola V. Osun State Christians. by Nobody: 2:45pm On Jun 16, 2016
#Istandwithcan A CLARION CALL FOR PEACE IN OSUN STATE AS POSTED BY BISHOP MIKE BAMIDELE OF VICTORY LIFE MINISTRIES INTERNATIONAL A CLARION CALL FOR PEACE ! I humbly and boldly call on all Christians in and out of government, old and young, indigenes within and outside the state of Osun ,residents within Osun state and all peace loving Nigerians as well as global organisations that promote peace in communities globally to speedily intervene in the issue of government body language on religious issues in Osun State . Hijrah day as State Holiday. Hijab wearing backed by court ruling by a Muslim judge... Hmmmm. This is a state where the issues had never generated ANY serious disharmony before the present Governor Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola came to serve and administer . The communities, schools and families have the most cordial, friendly, understanding relationships. Religion was never a divisive issue. We had Christian Governor and Christian Deputy Governor and All interests of both religions were served effectively. Infact ,they celebrated all festivals together without rancour or seeking to outshine one another. Hardly is there a family compound where they both do not share other relationships. They mutually respect each other's faith and do not cross boundaries that will lead to disharmony. That boundary is what the present situation is threatening. All believers in Jesus Christ, Saviour, Son Of God ,Messaih, Prince of Peace should pray and use Spiritual weapons to enforce peace. We should pray for all leaders in all spheres.,secular or spiritual. leadership is an onerous task. Let's stand firmly together with the leadership of Osun Christian Association of Nigeria in its effort to make government sensitive to the genuine feelings, fears and fundamental rights to expression of everyone especially Christians. I STAND WITH C.A.N .

The scruffy looking corrupt Ayatollah of Osun State is a clown.

Other faiths will wear whatever they deemed fit as their religious dress to school, in accordance with their fundamental human right as entrenched in the constitution and ably validated by the judgement of Justice Falola, and there is nothing he can do about it.

Division of the state is what he wants his legacy and heritage in Osun State to be, but we shall not allow him to divide us, apart from financially bankrupting the state.

Aregbesola Vs Osun state Christians Some Osun CAN members vs Ignorance.

This is the same state that produced Oyinlola and Erelu, both Christians, not long ago. Where was CAN then?

You missed the point my friend. If you must know, I find Aregbesola's developmental moves fascinating. For me, it is not anathema for a Muslim to hold political office. My point is holders of political office must refrain from using same to advance or subvert other believe systems. As far as I know neither Oyinlola nor Obada did such. #liveandletslive#

Was the state ''Christenised'' because of that?

The Ayatollah of Osun State is using the division to hide his failure in governance.

He should unmerge the schools or he should allow every faith to wear what suits their religion to school.

Who complained when he declared Hijrah a public holiday? No one. Everbody felt it was fair.

Who complained when he declared Isese day as public holiday? No one. Everbody felt it was fair.

Other faiths complained when he started his madness of using Tax Payers money to sew hijab. Which is just and fair.

Other faiths complained when he started merging schools of different faiths background together. Which is just and faitr.

The court has ruled that the religious dressing of faiths must be upheld in accordane to the constitution. SO whatsover CAN deemed as their religious dress, is what is a religious dress. whatever Osun worshippers says s their religious dress, is what is a religious dress.

Why is the Ayatollah of Osun State threatening children of other faiths with expulsion, as if they are his father's schools.

If only our leaders will learn to consult openly, widely and transparently in governance. He deceives himself in thinking his ways are hid.

Oyinlola too did not ban hijab but Aregbe did when CAN started deploying its political tainted tools and made itself an opposition party. That singular act was what pushed the case to court. Do you know the judge is a Christian? The thing is, you cannot blind the truth.

I blamed the government that took over the schools from their previous owners. They didn't do a thorough job. They should have renamed all schools by removing the religion connotations attached to them. They claimed Nigeria is a secular state yet conduct every function of government recognizing the same religions.

The logic about Oyin/Erelu is to tell you, if Muslims could tolerate that ticket for almost 8yrs; CAN should be tolerant and show respect too. At least CAN should seek justice through the legal channels not by destroying the psychic of young future leaders.

What you guys don't know is that the school (Anglican high school) has a long history of unruly behaviors externally engineered by the so called Christian leaders. Why must it be the same school always?

Meanwhile, let the CAN groomed thugs continue to wear robes to school and let's see who blink first.

Quran has already revealed wht you just noticed

O you who believe, take not for intimate friends others than your own people: they spare no pains to cause you loss. They love that which distresses you. Vehement hatred has already appeared from out of their mouths, and that which their hearts conceal is greater still. Indeed We have made the messages clear to you, if you understand. Quran 3:118
