Please my good people in the house, help me out on this issue,I have a citreon evasion 1.8i 1998 newly rebuilt engine.For the first time we want to start it it refused to start,first we thought that is fuel pump,but the fuel pump is ok. The mechanic just told me that there is no current in the plugs,which may be reason why fuel pump not getting current too.So he said we will look for a rewire that will check the problem.but i want to get first hand information here before meeting the rewire,so that when he start speaking latin i will know where to wait for him.please i need advice on this.

Nawaoo nobody answered my call,there by leaving me at the mercy of rewire

He said the problem is from the brain box,that he will take it to Ladipo for them to check it.
I still need advice on this issue before this man will finaly strangled me to death.please house make una help.

no one knows why the engine was rebuilt?
sometimes if a car overheats it won't restart until you clear stored codes.
You did not stated if you have ignition coil or distributor, one cylinder or all cylinder not working.

Your crankshaft sensor is most probably the culprit. mech must have damaged it while trying to fix the timing belt or chain.

Finally the car starts without doing much on it.The reason why many people are suffering is because of activities of quark mechanics and rewires,they will turn good brand to Bad brand.I went to Ladipo and went straight where they are selling peugeot parts, i mention the problem,They gave me two guys,one rewire and one mechanic,but the two agreed that the rewire should go with me,if he reach he will check if the former mechanic fits the timing well,if he did not then he will come.Behold we got to where the car is parked the rewire open burnet, and said is not timing something,he test fuel relay, change it,connect one or two wire like that,within 3 mins the motor starts.no computer coding,no brain box unlocking.I just called him wizard,instantly gave him his money he charged before we started the journey.This is the problem i begged somebody to come and do with N30k but he said N40k i even said no problem,only to call me that he cant make it.
Please if you are using peugeot or related Brand like that and you are in Lagos just and simply go to Ladipo,they will answer you.i would have love to publish this rewire number here so that he can save and help alot of people from unreasonable and wicked so called engineers.but is like is against the rule i dont know.

The other problem is when you said 'connect one or two wire like that' that means you still didn't learn anything from this problem.

You should have asked him exactly what he did so that in case he messed up you will know what to tell the next person what was changed by previous tech. You can still call him to get information for your self

You get "'spark"" from spark plug not "current".The topic of this thread will more will more meaningful if you can replace the word "current" with "spark".

Probably the connection to RPM sensor was off or broken and it was reconnected. I would suggest you pay attention to any electrical work done on your lion. Really, that's how not to abuse electrical side of a lion.
