This is the sorry state of Ikom-Calabar highway at Akpet Central Village in Cross River state. The road which has been badly affected due to heavy downpour -caused obstruction for road users and motorists for four days. The road was cleared by officials of the Federal Road Safety Corps on Thursday (yesterday). See photos below;

Odukpani is fhucked, Ikom road same..


Its like all their Governor does with state funds is wait till December to siphon cash via Carnival and carry Oloshos.

I thought work had begun on that road, i remember reading about it.
It is pertinent for government to fix roads in the dry season to avoid travellers going through severe stress when the rains begin.
