Ghanaian economy was destroyed by GEJ-type leaders until the coming of JJ. They suffered with JJ but today were the better for it. GEJ is supposed to be given the Ghana-treatment if not for the deal reached that former leaders shouldn't be disgraced except for criminal breaches. If Buhari is a good leader, as I believe 100% he is, things are going to improve. For e.g., the ban on importation of food items like rice is bound to cause shortage and price increase in the short term, but it would encourage local production and self-sufficiency in the long run. Won't that put more cash in the pockets of local farmers and boast the local economy. Those who don't see beyond their nose (the #BringBackOurCorruption choir) are the ones crying.

What about the purchasing power of the masses who can't afford both local and foreign rice because they have lost their source of livelihood, because of mismanagement of the economy?
