Dear........

Thanks for applying to GSK. We hope you find our application process a positive experience.

For this stage of the process, we’re asking you to complete between one and three online assessments. These assessments will be managed by our trusted recruitment partners, IBM.

PLEASE NOTE:

You currently have one new assessment waiting for you to complete. You now have 72 hours (from receipt of this email) to complete this first online assessment. You’ll find a link to your personalised ‘my assessments’ homepage in this email where you can access your first assessment. If you are required to complete any additional assessments, these will then appear as a link on your personalised homepage -you will not receive another email invite. You will be given 3 days to complete the assessment from the date it appears in your homepage.

Make sure that you read all of the following instructions carefully before you begin and ensure that you refresh your homepage daily until you are notified that “there are no assessments available to you to complete at this time”.

Completing the GSK Online Assessments

1. Over the process, you’ll be asked to complete between one and three online assessments.

2. Your personalised ‘my assessments’ homepage will contain the link to your assessments. When you have completed an assessment, you’ll be brought back to the ‘my assessments’ homepage where a link to a new assessment may appear.

3. It’s essential that you disable any pop-up blockers before you begin the assessment process.

4. We’ll give you 3 days to complete each online assessment, starting from the time that it appears on your homepage. If you don’t complete the assessment within 3 days (72 hours), it will expire and your participation in our selection process will come to an end.

5. We estimate that each assessment will take you between 5 and 20 minutes to complete without interruption, but there is no set time limit. The length of each test varies depending on your responses so you could finish it in a shorter amount of time than our estimate. Please be aware that if you leave the test open and you are not actively completing the questions for an extended length of time, the assessment may time out and register an invalid score.

6. Once you complete an assessment, please confirm that you’re finished by clicking ‘Exit Assessment’. Once you have done this, you won’t be able to re-enter that assessment.

7. Please allow 5-10 minutes for your results to be registered. Then refresh your ‘my assessments’ homepage where a link to a new assessment may appear.

8. Once you have allowed 5-10 minutes for your results to be registered, AND you have refreshed your homepage, if this homepage displays the message ‘there are no assessments available for you to complete at this time’ you have completed all the required assessments. Please then log out of the system and return to the email account you used for your application. We’ll send you an email to confirm whether you have made it to the next stage.

9. Please note that the assessments cannot be completed using a mobile device.

Getting Started
This link will take you to your own online assessment homepage and will be accessible until all your required assessments are complete

Just to remind you, we’ll give you 3 days (72 hours) to complete each online assessment, starting from the time that it appears on your homepage. If you don’t complete the assessment within 3 days, it will expire and your participation in our selection process will come to an end.

If this is your first time completing an assessment with us, please read and accept the disclaimer.

If the option is available, select your preferred language. This language will be used for your assessments whenever possible. Please note that our online assessments

Smh!
The assessments are 3 in number at least for me
1) value assessment fit, you will be given 3 options and told to pick the one that is most important to you and the least important. 31 questions here
2) numerical reasoning, simple maths but you will need calculator, a pen and a book, I didn't use the last two so I spent close to 35 minutes doing it.
3) verbal reasoning, I'm about to start it now

Please, overall, what's the experience like?
Is one's success in the first stage a prerequisite for the next stage?
Do you get to see your result immediately?

What sort of numeric and verbal does it comprise of? I think I am little nervous.

There is no reason to be nervous I believe
1) The experience with respect to the value assessment fit was more like filling all these questionnaires final year students distribute for their project purposes.
2) I can't say, I just noticed once I clicked exit assessment after completing one I get a link to another.
3) I didn't see the results but I got a mail about 2 minutes after I completed the 3 assessments along the lines of you've successfully completed the online assessment of our selection process. We are now reviewing your application as part of our application process.
4) Mostly percentages and ratios, then interpretation of statements in a passage for the verbal reasoning whether it's true, false or not contained in the passage.
I hope this helps
