oh reallyhuh

let them go to oblivion? who dem epp? stfu....

on the contrary below is one of the sensitive eye opener info I have gotten from nairaland this month.

"Nigerian graduate’s salary is 1/7th of that of a US graduate,
while a Nigerian Senator’s salary is 8 times that of a US
senator."
Just imagine.

A sensible nairalander replied thus;

KenModi

So long we continue with our "I don't care attitude" towards
what our public office holders do we wld continue to suffer.
Until we begin to hold them responsible for their actions
while in office, we would continue to weep and wail
everyday over the situation of things in the country.
My people money dey dis country! Why we go dey suffer at
all with all the money wey we get?
Nigeria is over due for a revolution, a bloody revolution!
Infact we need an "African spring" similar to the Arab
spring.
But who wan die?!!
Everyone keeps saying "one day e go beta".
My fellow youthful brothers and sisters, I have bad news, e
no go better anytime soon or in the future if we no take to
the street and protest all the rubbish wey we dey see for the
hand of our government.
See how graduates for America dey enjoy while graduates
for my country dey fight to get manageable work, at least to
survive; while one WAEC holder go just manage land for
house of reps and e go dey drive all latest cars; and dem go
dey push for bills wey go mak dem enjoy more, like as
Ekweremadu and co dey push for life time pension for
principal office holder for Senate.
Chai! Greed at its peak!
My people, mak I ask one question, abeg between B.Sc and
WAEC na which certificate high pass
I pity my people as they continue to eat from dustbin while
few among them keep all the money for banks for abroad.

spoken word indeed.

False sense of entitlement everywhere. How come any aggrieved persons these days think the only way their problem can be solved is by holding 200 million other Nigerians to ransom?

Thank God this regime is taking practical steps to move away from single product revenue. Oil is becoming more of a curse everyday. Several countries globally have developed themselves without an iota oil generated revenue.

Unions are like the Mafia and in a country like Nigeria, they are simply a political tool used for selfish reasons.

Leave that matter jor, Nigeria needs to do away with Unions for now or weaken them considerably.

I purchased petrol for 250/Liter on Sunday in Port Harcourt because NUPENG went on strike to protest the sacking of some workers. This has become the norm for them now. No Oil Company who members are under PENGASSAN or NUPENG can fire an under-performing staff or fire staff due to Company re-adjustment or financial downturn without facing pressures from them.

PENGASAN should go to hell. Over the years they have benefited from the monumental fraud in the oil industry and forgot to fight against unfair labour practices, and now that sanity has been brought into the industry, they have woken up from their slumber because fuel subsidy fraud fountain has dried up, bull shit!!!.

I consider rich dad poor dad to be mostly BS, but one thing stood out

His rich dad told him if you're going to be an entrepreneur, you must not let your staff unionize.
If you're going to be a professional, you must be in an industry with a strong union.

A lot of downsizing in this country is executive fat cats making the worker ants take the fall for their bad decisions and wastage.

As per industrial courts, it's a war of attrition. The banks etc know that workers may not have the resources for a drawn out battle, so they sack arbitrarily.

Nigerian banks are a prime example of an industry that needs to be unionized. Those fuckers will such the life-force out if people and discard them.

In all this downturn, the ogas at the top keep buying new cars and sharing bonus etc while telling everyone else to tighten belt.

The emergence of alternative sources of energy will put a stop to this nonsense. A bunch of chalatans holding the country to hostage because we have oil as a major source of energy.

Silly excuse! these employers are private companies, is it because PENGASSAN hold the ace to oil revenue? Let employees solve their issues with their employers, when they are being employed nobody knows.
PENGASSAN and NUPENG have constituted themselves into a parallel Government. There should be a way to curtail their excesses. It is getting out of hand. About time to call their bluff!
