Good Day,
House, Kindly help me on this issue that is driving me crazy.
I drive a 2002 Honda Accord V.Tech Engine.
My right wheel tire wobbles when I speed up to about 40 or 60. When I take off my feet from the pedal it stops wobbling. A number of times my mech
told me to change both up and down bolts and the arm. Whenever I do that I only notice the changes for about 2weeks and it wil become obvious again.
Changed the hub, did wheel balancing and aligement but same thing still keep occurring.
A mech complained that my right back tire was bad and its the one causing the front right wheel tire to wobble . My Vulganizer checked it and said the tire is not in a bad state to cause the front right wheel to wobble. I changed that tire and replaced it with my extra tire after changing the bolts again. After about 2weeks I started feeling the right front wheel wobbling again. All this has been going on for about 4 months now back and forth.
I am extremely disturbed now. Someone should kindly assist me on what can be happening.

What exactly do you mean by 'wobbling'?

Does your steering wheel jerk from side to side in your hand while driving at top speed and your car vibrates at the same time?

Do you hear some noise from your front wheels, especially when turning?

Open the hood and look beneath your brake fluid chamber. It is connected to this 'servo' via a master cylinder.

Do a drain and refill of your transmission fluid, using ATF-DW1 only.
You may need to repeat the procedure once or twice, depending on how dirty the transmission fluid is, until you have it fresh and clean.
Hopefully, your transmission's malfunction has not reached the point of no return.

Cheers!

Welcome Sir

That is exactly what I mean. However, what will determine if you need to do a second ATF change is this:

**After your first drain and refill procedure, drive the car around for a day or two, then remove your ATF dipstick and check the colour, smell and consistency (rub fluid between your fingers). Colour should be clear pink (not dark), should not smell burnt and when you rub between your fingers, you should not feel any fine particles. Otherwise, a second drain and refill is indicated.

Nonetheless, it is generally better to repeat the oil drain and refill, at least once (or more, till the above-stated conditions are met). This is because it is NOT possible to drain all the fluid in your transmission at any single attempt. You can only drain about 2/3rds (except you dismantle the transmission), so there will always be some old/dirty fluid left behind to dilute the fresh one you are adding. The more times you repeat the procedure, the fresher ATF you have in there.

That said, you might have noticed some improvement in symptoms right from the time you perform the first drain. Following the guide however prolongs your transmission life and improves overall performance, especially if you change ATF at recommended intervals (see your owner's manual).

Concerning where you can get ATF-DW1, you can contact luvinghubby (He sells) or buy from Amazon/ ebay.
Beware of any other ATF, as ATF-DW1 is the only one formulated for Honda transmissions.

Good luck.

Dont go wasting your money on this venture; money no dey now. Changing atf DOES NOT repair any transmission problem, if its already there. From your description, you might be having an engine problem. Have the car scanned first, it might be your MAF, plugged air filter, a leak or other sensor(s).

When I say wobble I mean the tire shaking and making the body of the car to also shake and even feel it on the pedal while it won't make any strange sound. Its not when I turn or when on slow movement but when that speed is attained.
Pls I need advice on what to do.

Your A/C low pressure circuit should not freeze. Could be, most likely, due a faulty thermostat. Have a sensible a/c technician check your thermostat function.

It's just funny how lagosians on nairaland forget to add their location in virtually everything. They mostly assume that it's only lagosians that come to nairaland and therefore everyone should know they are in Lagos.
