Don't you understand how banks in nigeria do their thing??they will not immediately start carrying new transactions at the rate,they will want to offset orders first before switching.....they will want to take as much as profit as they can quickly before switching...

The naira might have bumps, but the trend is down.
We all know the way up is to increase dollar earnings through diversification.
It should be clear that this WILL NOT HAPPEN THIS YEAR. If govt meant to pursue it, even children will notice the massive upheaval in govt's activity level.
......
For example-
I discussed biogas as a govt project to earn dollars. The proponent of the idea gave 18 months as turnkey for the production plants.
Who has noticed any increased activity in dollar-earning projects by the govt?
Teachers? Feeding students?
