It's like these workers haven't smelt the coffee. This is the regime of PMB and prudence is the key word. Unnecessary and frivolous allowances are now a thing of the past, if not for anything else for the current state of the economy.

The only grouse I see they have here is if the minister has collected her own allowances.

We have to know the nature of the allowance they are talking about! When you hear some of the allowances some of these government parastatals like NIMASA collect, you will want to puke over your meal.
In NIMASA, you will hear allowance like Independece day allowance and all ridiculous allowance that even the staff will ask questions only when they receive bank alerts

If madam is getting allowance, others should get their own measure as well

That would make sense if they are protesting non payment of their own Housing Allowance.

For the first time in my 8 years oil and gas career, no bonus, no annual inflation adjustment. Personal forfeiture of about N3m (both added together) due to oil price dip. And I'm even lucky, many colleagues lost their jobs.

And some people think things should remain the same for a government that depends on oil.

These people should go and sit down. Now that this babe lady is trying to settle down properly, now that our Naira is gaining momentum, they want to distract her. Corruption can really fight back.

Question is, did Mrs. Adeosun collect her own so called 'illegal' allowance? She must be probed. However, what is illegal is illegal. And being that it was not budgeted in the 2016 appropriation bill, the ministry of finance workers must be stupid to make such outrageous demands.

what are you saying? If the minister can collect 30million as housing allowance, why shouldn't the workers get their own? Allowances are normal in most organizations. If it should be scrapped it should be across the board. Meaning no allowance too for the minister.

are you saying that her "housing allowance is illegal"

don't civil service workers collect the allowance as part of their take home (monthly payments)

“Inflation is 15% courtesy of Adeosun”; Adeosun agent of negative change”; “Adeosun score card is zero”; and “Adeosun collects N30m house rent.”

Only zombies will disregard this genuine agitation.

Adeosun and her employer (Buhari) should bounce out now!!!

Their grouse, it was learnt, is over the non-payment of what they termed their allowances, which amounted to N1.2 billion.

The protesting workers must be sick. The era where some federal workers in some powerful ministries get illegal allowances is over. All allowances not captured in the appropriation act or recognized by extant regulations is illegal and should not be paid.

The minister that collected N30m is not sick.

Let her forfeit her own. Why do you all act blindly. She takes her own allowance and calls other's illegal?

KEMI ADEOSUN PLEASE PAY THEIR MONEY DON'T BE GREEDY
Is just envy that is worrying many people
If you are in their shoes you will do worst,
how will she collect her own and stop others.
Many of you guys that collects money from your relatives
in Ministry of Finance , where do you think they get the money from?
Money in the hands of low cadres in civil service is the one that circulate
because they will not go and buy houses in Dubai or London.
They use the money to take good cares of their relatives,
they pay friends and relatives children school fees and health bills.
Build house in Nigeria and empower the bricklayer
If the allowance was not legal, legalize it.
