There is nothing wrong with this verse.. infact it shows tolerance....this is a clear example of not forcing ur own traditions on others. Imagine if the west says there shouldn't be halal meat because they think it nonsense. .

I once saw a muslim hausa man begging a southerner for a dead goat to eat, the goat was attacked by dogs...it's disgusting but the man ate it..it's later that I learnt that Muslims are not allowed to eat dead animals but the dude ate it still.

U just said it all... The dude ate it, also u realised Islam forbid it. Despite he ate it, it does not mean Islam supported dat.
Note: is not all that called themselves muslims that go by it teachings... Its good u findout on acts n attitude of pple b4 drawing conclusion.
