I feed the dog more of crunches and some times indomie waste. I give crunches cos it's convenient for me cos I don't have time to cook.

Enough with the can food.... my advice feed him biscuit bone tell the meat seller to chop it to babies sizes and don't tell them its for dog or dey will give u to harden bone just make sure its dose brownish biscuit bone.... it will make the poo hard... Pele

When you say CO, I take it you mean Caucasian Ovcharka. It is a big dog, the waste will be much. Please stop flogging your dog, I can guarantee you the dog does not know why you are flogging it.

Do not reduce its food. I don't think there is medicine that will reduce the waste per say, there are some that will break it down or liquefy it. I prefer solid waste though cause it is easier to clean.

I give cod liver human type and it make it poo watery. If there is no drugs for poo reducing. I'm afraid I don't have choice than to constantly reduce his food.

Not to sound rude but what did you expect when you were getting a dog especially a giant breed dog? Beating a dog for pooping is so wrong and shows you really should have considered all these things before owning a dog. Every dog owner knows that's part of it. It's like you saying you are beating a two year old because his poo is too much and then your solution is to reduce the child's food because you want less poop. It doesn't make sense to me. And for the person saying that cod liver oil will make the poop less only the Almighty knows where you got that theory from.
If you want less poop but still want your dog to be healthy try raw feeding. Read up about it. Feeding dogs raw meat and bones makes their poop less and also it smells less because they use up most of it. But it will still be a sizeable amount of poop. Please don't punish the dog for doing something natural.

Change your dog feed to Diamond or K9 and see the big difference. Diamond, though expensive is highly recommended. The poo will be much if the dog pass out all it consumes meaning the body didnt absord anything and surely such is not the right one for your dog.

i don't get, why would you FLOG your dog for pooping, if you aren't ready for the stress of owning a dog, why have one ? In my opinion that's abusive. You are probably overfeeding him or there's something wrong with his diet (he cant shit what he didn't eat), him getting lean isn't necessarily a bad thing as long as he is not underweight.

Please don't beat your dog because of poop. My dog (GSD) poops big poo as well but that's just how it is. I've never gotten angry at that. And I am the one that cleans up after him. It's part of per ownership. I did notice that when I started feeding only chicken and beef scraps the poo wasn't as bulky as dry food and it didn't smell as bad. He is trained to poo in a certain spot so it makes it easier for me. I would suggest taking your dog for walks around the time you know he is likely to poo so he can do his business outside. If you practice scheduled feeding it will make it more predictable for you. Your boy is a handsome fella

Of all the posts before mine, only a few shld u consider. It's natural and healthy for every living being to poo, remember MR NIGER D?

Action and Reaction are equal and opposite, your dog feeds, u definitely should expect him to poo. And I don't think u shld be worried about the weight of ur dog's poop, rather u should watch the poop for signs of infection. You can always tell the health of a dog from his poop.

Bro, I understand this might be tough on you, but please disposing ur dogs' poop is not too much a sacrifice to pay.

1. Keep to the dry food you're on, the recommended ones being arion, K9 fav, diamond, Royal canin, Jojo crunchy, and the likes.

2. Don't give above the recommended quantity, overfeeding can lead to obesity in dogs. That doesn't mean u shld starve ur dog.

3. Make sure ur dog is up-to-date on medications, as infections can also be the cause for stooling. So close watch the frequency and severity at which ur dog drops his waste.

And lastly, on no account shld u administer anything out of the ordinary because u wanna reduce ur dog's poop.

The best u can do is teach him some manners. Show him a designated spot to poop. If you design a corner in ur compound for this purpose, it will make poo cleaning easier on you. By "designing", I mean u can down-slope the floor of that area, so when u wanna clean, u can just flush the wastes with water and disinfect.

For d poo, i'm just worried of d size. I feed with crunches and indomie waste. CIC has stop cooking for d dog. As for flogging, I may stop flogging him. I wish there's a drug that shrinks poo.

U guys should understand why I'm worried. I've not trained dog in my life b4. I've never liked dogs not until I had a house which I needed it as a security, now I'm liking dogs gradually. But for flogging, I think it would help to make d dog submissive and respect me.

Lol.. Sure been a while bro. Anyways, the poo maybe connected to the amount of food you give. Try feeding to body weight (sizable sum) and if it is that you always leave water for him, you need to regulate that too. However, bear in mind that crunches and Indomie waste makes them thirst.

Flogging the dog should be ONLY when he's done something REALLY bad that you want to correct. If you think it breeds respect, you're wrong because it will instill fear rather than submission.
