I watched her leave, feeling sort of deflated. I had been so sure I had gotten her, I'd seen the arousal in her eyes, for a minute back there, I had been so sure I'd had her.

Maybe I was too self confident and over estimated how my charms had affected her. Gosh, but she would have been a hot piece to lay, I thought regretfully.

“Guess you owe me twenty grand …..because I'm sure I didn't see her write a number somewhere nor did is she leaving with you tonight.” Franklin said from behind me.

I almost had her, I thought still wondering what had gone wrong. Girls didn't walk away from me, I was very aware of the appeal that I had over them. They might act tough but they always caved in the end.

I dropped back on the Sofa, painfully aware of the ache in my manly parts. Franklin sat down on the next sofa, that had only been recently vacated.
“I almost had her.” I said to myself.

“Well, too bad but almost doesn't count… you still owe me twenty grand.”

“Can you just forget your money for a minute?”

Franklin chuckled, “okay then… you almost had her.”

“She was into me, did you see it?”

Franklin shrugged. “To tell you the truth, she gave nothing away. I didn't see anything definite.”

“Well, I looked into her eyes, I know what I saw.”

“Yeah whatever…. why are you bothered anyway? Usually you would have forgotten about her by now and moved on to the next girl.”

“Yeah, but I'm just surprised…. She is really fine and I had looked forward to spending the night with her.” I said turning to Franklin.

“It's refreshing to know there are still girls out there who can resist your charms.”

“Yeah, whatever.” Bringing out my phone, I began logging into the mobile banking app. “So which of your accounts should I transfer your spoils?”

“Umm….you might have to hold up on that.” Franklin said sounding surprised, suddenly sitting back and looking up.

Following the direction of his gaze, I was quite surprised to see her, Barbie. Our gazes met, as it dawned on me that she had come back. She was staring directly at me from across the room.

She raised her index finger and made the come hither gesture at me. I shot up from the seat, pocketing my phone, I was two steps on my way to meet her when she pointed at the bottles of champagne still sitting in the ice bucket. She inclined her head slightly and I understood what she meant.

She had lied when she said she didn't take alcohol, I almost laughed out loud. The girl had taking me for a ride but I didn't mind. She had come back. I had won, that's what really mattered at the moment.

Picking up the bottle, I turned to Frank briefly, “GTB account.”

He shook his head at me with an unbelieving smile gracing his features as I left, walking with a slight swag, I still had it!

Barbie led the way out and I followed, eyeing her butt and knowing we were going to have one hell of a night. What an awesome birthday this turned out to be.

“My car is right over here,” I pointed but before I knew it, she turned and pushed me against the side of another car. Her hands running over my shirt front as she she reached up to kiss me fiercely as if she'd been longing to do that for a while.

I kissed her back with equal fervour, disappointed that I had drinks in my hand or I would have had a feel of her soft butt that I'd been dying to feel all evening.

Breaking off the kiss, her beautiful eyes held mine, her heart shaped lips slightly swollen, she said and i listened, silently hoping she hadn't changed her mind again. “I have just one rule….. Don't fall for me, please… This is just a one night thing.”

Monday morning saw me still going over the events of two nights ago. I tried to concentrate on work but couldn't.

There was good sex, great sex and then there was awesome sex. The type that got a guy ruminating over it even after two days. Barbie had been awesome sex and I hadn't been able to get her off my mind since the night we'd spent together.

The session that had occurred at my place had been mind blowing and had left me craving more but I had woken up to an empty bed space beside me.

All that had been left of Barbie was a note she'd hurriedly scribbled, saying thanks for a great night.

I'd been puzzled at why she'd left abruptly as I knew she had enjoyed it all as much as I had, so why had she left before it was barely dawn. I wasn't being clingy and I understood it had been a one night thing but leaving that way had been sort of rude and had gotten me slightly pissed.

Maybe the real reason for my annoyance was that the night had been so good that I was sort of Oliver Twisting over her. She'd left me so satisfied I was very unsatisfied and still wanted her. One night only with her didn't really cut it for me. If she had stayed till I'd woken up, I would never have let her leave without going at it a few more times.

She had been such a sexual creature, with absolutely no boundaries and willing to explore for more. She had been so open and willing to my touch. Her sultry eyes open, watching me through it all, unafraid to show me how good I made her feel. Watching when I gave her pleasure but most especially when she was the one giving.


It had seemed watching my features as I enjoyed the pleasure she gave, had given her a sort of feeling of empowerment that she'd craved. She hadn't been selfish, instead she had been more giver than receiver. Giving and watching as I received what she gave.

I didn't miss the sarcasm in her voice. Simi and Irene didn't approve with my lifestyle and they never ceased to tease me about it.

“It was awesome actually.” I replied with a smile. “I met this really fine little lady and we had an awesome time together...at my place.”

Simi shook her head and rolled her eyes. “Gosh...sometimes, I wonder if there's any hope for you at all.”

“Simi, you need to stop being hopeful for me, I am enjoying my life perfectly the way it is.”

She looked at him, shaking her head, a small smile on her lips.

Simi was a very attractive lady, when we had met at first, I'd tried getting close to her but she had easily friend zoned me. She was one of the few immune to my good looks, at first I hadn't been sure why she wasn't attracted to me but I'd found out a few months back that she had always been in love with Seye Savage, the present CEO of the company we both worked under. They had been childhood lovers and she had never gotten over him.

I liked her as a friend anyway. She and Irene made good friends and were easy to talk with. We had grown closer over time and confided in one another.

Aside them, I wasn't close to the females in the workplace, some had tried vying for my attention but I'd easily put them off.

I never mixed my private and work lives together. The office was sacred and except for Simi didn't who I'd been attracted to somewhat, I had never hit on any of the female staff. I took my job seriously and didn't need to jeopardise it having flings with the female staff.

“They say where there's life, there's hope so I guess I will just keep being hopeful.”

“Simi, that doesn't apply in my case… Why would I want to give up sampling the finest wines and stick to just one? That's grave injustice, don't you think?…. And there are many others who share my view.
Like this hot lady I met at the club, she was something else… Exquisite would be an understatement. After some forming at first, we went to my place where she did awesome things to me and then left before I even woke up. In my opinion, that's a perfect lady. Ladies could learn a thing or two from her.”

Simi raised a brow, “Dave… please spare me all the details of how you get down. I really do not want to know, thanks.”

I chuckled. “I'm just saying some ladies don't mind….”

“But most do.”

“And that's just too damn bad, they are missing on a lot.” I replied just as the doors opened and the senior managers walked in along with the clients we were working for.

That was my cue to shelve my weekend romp to the corner and focus on work.

I had just turned up my laptop when she walked in. She was dressed smartly in a sleeveless nude coloured gown that reached just below her knees but clung to every curve of her body.

The body had me drawn in at first before I looked up to see her face. Her hair was brown with streaks of blond, it's side swept fringe covering over half of her face but the resemblance was unmistakable.

She had changed weaves but she was the same girl I'd been with two nights back. Even in brown hair and fully clothed, she looked even more sultry and sexy than she had two nights back.

“Barbie?” I said, my voice coming out as a shocked whisper which only Simi heard.

“You've met Barbara?” Simi asked. “Seye's cousin.”

“What?” I spat quite loud enough to get stares, turning to Simi in shock. I had slept with Seye's cousin, what the hell?

Simi frowned staring at me with concern, “Is something wrong?”

I turned back to see I'd also caught Barbie's attention. She also seemed quite surprised to see me at first but recovered from her shock easily.

That very familiar smile suddenly appeared on her mouth, and holding my gaze, she sat down.
“Hello….Dave? Hi Simi…” She called from where she sat, which was opposite me, a few seats to the left.

“Hi Barbs, looking good.” Simi said to her while I just watched, dumbfounded and confused as hell.
