Induction is indicated when it isn't safe to delay and wait for labour naturally.
It's painful but fast if your cervix and baby cooperates.
Things can go south which will necessitate emergency CS.
For my second I was induced because of Anaemia @ term. I was 37wks gone then. Labour lasted for 4hrs from start of induction to delivery. With hindsight now, it wasnt a bad experience.
Why do they want to induce you?

They really said the beautiful ones are not yet born. The beautiful ones are getting born now.

@ HumbledbYGrace , this your bs is like a novel,detailed and interesting,felt for the lady that lost her baby,and I also believe the midwife was not careful enough. Kisses to baby Onyinye.
Its so sad losing ones baby after suffering to carry for nine month,the hospital were I birthed my babies too one lady lost hers due to delay by her husby in signing the cs form.she has been in labour for more than 2 days it will cease and resume later ,so the baby was already in distress. I wonder why the husband delayed,not like they were asking him to bring the money immediately, just sign the form,at the end of the day,he still paid the money and no baby.
