Pls just pay your gbese. If you were a good citizen, we won't need to be chasing you to pay your gbese. No be we collect am. Plus it's depositors money, I am sure your refusal to pay has cost a lot of people their daily bread. And it's obvious you have the money somewhere, but you sat on it, hoping no body can hold you accountable and pushing more people into poverty. Just pay your money, this is what can make an economy grow and flourish. Mr. Big man with big gbese. 10 Likes |

He took a loan over a decade ago and he's yet to fully settle it and even defaulting and he's proud to say it. If everyone borrow and don't pay back then where will others get money to borrow 2 Likes |

Sometimes when you want to doubt the existence of God, incidences like this makes you think twice. Was he not the one mocking the entire people of my beloved state last year? It started from his state, now him. God is awesome. 5 Likes 1 Share |

Imagine the President of the Federal Republic of twitter talking trash. First he said its not a setback then he compared his situation to that of awolowo and called awolowos situation a setback. So if he would bounce back as he claims, where would he be bouncing back from isnt it a setback? Then he is blaming a present day economic situation for his misfortunes when the loan was over a decade old when the economy was way rosier than now plus Amcon bought over his debth in 2011 when he couldnt service it... so for 5yrs he has been cllaiming ownership over what was technically no longer his and Amcon gave him a 5yr grace which he also couldnt redeem hence the take over. The man is pathetic! He also went as far as trying to hide behind his 1000 people workforce as if that is not a drop in the ocean compared to the millions the federal government is trying to create employment for..yet he claims he knows more than the FG does with his common sense rants. Conclusion: Same way he mocked fashola for saying provision of elctricity isnt rocket science I also say repayment of 11b naira loan also isnt rocket science Mr Twitter president. 9 Likes 1 Share |

Nigerians are really tougher than our challenges. I wonder how the so called leaders of tomorrow will come to the media and started typing nonsense about BMB's ordeal. we should realize that He's feeding more than 10000 Nigerians with the 11b loan. |

Wjy are you people cheering this evil man? This man took a huge loan and refused to pay. The fg bought the loan so the bank won't fold up. Imagine the number of the bank staff who will lose their jobs and the people who will lose thier money if the bank go bust . After the fg bought his loan under Jonathan, he relied on Jonathan winning reelection so he wont pay the money back thereby cheatung and stealing from the country. Now that Jonathan has lost he has no plan to pay the money back and he was well and truly sanctioned and you're here praising him You're praising a man who wants to ruin you and your country Disgraceful 6 Likes |

Businessideas: But how can you label BMB an irresponsible borrower? Do you really understand how loan financing work? Don't you know that inflation and other economic factors would have affected the projection for the loan in the unforseeable future? In the event of a default, isn't it the bank's duty to inform it's debtor? Use moral suasion, debt factors or their risk/credit management team? After the 90 days prudential guidelines limit has been stretched, won't the bank define the loan as a non performing loan? After moral suasion and threat of legal actions, isn't it the duty of the loan officers/bank to enforce whatever lien is on the contract? Tell me if you were the CEO, won't you be intimidated by the personality of BMB? Or you have never done business in your life before? Do you even know that Non performing loans are insured by banks in the event of unforeseeable circumstances? 4 Likes |

ijames: Considering the ruptured economy we have today and most state governors claiming they can't pay workers the same minimum wage despite the federal allocation they get and internally generated revenue, I believe it is something BMB should beat his chest about!!!. I am not a fan of his, but hey!! Cut him some slack!!!! |
