It means being part of a continent that has a rich diverse culture, fertile soil and close family ties. Respecting elders, being sexually conservative and showing concern for neighbours and community members. 2 Likes |

TO me to be African means to have a culture in the African Continent. Having my own language, food, music and other things that are not western and have not been westernized. To be one of a few thousand tribes on the continent that have a sense of ownership of the "soil."
